Thanks. Well I'm stuck in Mandaue hotel at the moment. I took this a few weeks again. Wish I was stuck on a beach, not a hotel room haha! Take care and be safe.

Wow you would of seen a lot of changes in the video since then huh? A new swimming pool, there's new rooms/villas. I don't know if they had glamping back then either? You think it's better or worse since then?

EXCELLENT videos! I was looking for information on wellness resorts in Cebu and found the last one you did on Badian Island as well. Very thorough and great video footage! Do you know of any wellness resorts in Cebu? And just to clarify, I live in the TX USA (born in the Philippines) and used to work for a boutique wellness resort and spa and EVERYTHING was geared to true wellness. Yoga, meditation, custom organic meals, organic gardens, tibetan bowl meditations, tai chi, various water activities, a spa with many holistic treatments as well as massage. I would appreciate any feedback since you seem to be very familiar with Cebu Island. Thank you kindly.

Thanks Genevieve. I haven't been to a resort that specificity offers those, although some of the upmarket resorts in Mactan do cater for some of that although not exclusively. Places such as the Shangri-la Mactan, Movenpick, Plantation Bay Resort and Crimson Resort. There is a resort also in the north of Cebu that I'm hoping to get to one day, again it's not exclusively a "wellness resort" but offers some services. www.kandayaresort.com/. Bohol which is not that far away from Cebu may have some options as well.

I was there last month and it was nothing like your video advertises. Our stay was so bad. Nothing in the fridge, their beds are very old, the toilet didn't work and you have to walk to the other side on the mountain to buy a coffee that's very over priced. To be truthful I hated it. We all were so happy to be back home. I don't know if it is because of Covid why it's so run down. We will never go back.

Sorry to hear that. I've stayed there a few times over the years and really enjoyed it. Although I haven't been since the pandemic hit so I'm not sure how that affected them. I did believe it closed down for a while during the lockdown. I think all the food there is pretty expensive and including the accommodation! In the end I guess there are always going to places you just don't like or you don't have good experiences. It's kinda normal, I look at TripAdvisor and see the number 1 place somewhere and yet there are people who'll say they hate the place. Hopefully your next trip you'll find your paradise 🏖🏝🍹
