Blues Run The Game | Finger-style Classic by Jackson C Frank

Музыка

A nice bit of finger-style from Jackson C Frank. Great song, quite easy to play, and a good practical illustration of some of the essential picking patterns I looked at a few weeks ago.

Nice job. I also really like Simon & Garfunkel's version they recorded for the 1966 album 'Sounds of Silence.' Fun fact: Paul Simon produced Frank's one and only album.

I also enjoy the sound of worn in acoustic strings. I think it's the sound you expect to hear and I have in the past thought this is because strings weren't so readily available so the only time strings were replaced was when they snapped. It was probably true for the electric guitars too, but perhaps not so obvious to the ear.
