He didn't invent that though. The blues is an amazing genre that created every other genre of American music from rock to jazz, and it started with black musicians playing in crowded taverns with improvised devices and shoddy guitars.

@@brandondavidson4085 the blues, to me anyway, seems like one of the best examples to point at when talking about America being the melding pot. All the world's music over an age gathered here in the states and then, as immigrants merged together in different areas for different reasons (some good some bad and some ugly), new sounds and ensembles were tried and tested until we get the blues; after that point it's like all other music spawned from there.

My friend used to play Roy B, stuff back in the day, he rode a 69 Triumph, great bike, I used to listen to the" London Sessions" on the radio, those memories, help me paint, and play guitar, Thanks for inspiration, as you are a younger person, Reminds me not to take for granted where I learn from, Cheers!

Justin is a healer. I read all of these comments about how his music helps others with various medical, emotional, and mental needs, and I must agree. I have PTSD and Justin's music grounds me and sets my CNS at ease. Thank you Justin!

In 2013 I was sitting on my truck's tailgate and drinking my beer alone when I heard somebody say: "your heart is trying to tell you something- listen to it!" I went straight to the hospital, got a 💔 attack and thot I was headed home soon but God sed.."not yet..boy you got some more to do" ..and here I be! Maybe God's not done with you either! The slow swampy feel gets me every time! He's phrasing and feel are superb and his intonation is spot on and the muting and extraneous noise are minimal! It ain't easy folks!

JJ is strictly an instrumental slide guitarist, who doesn’t sing. How can you compare them to: STV, JH, EC, and JB, who are all great guitarist (not slide guitarist ) and singers ?

Extremely talented - can listen to your music for hours.

This whole set is amazing and I adore it. Takes me back to a time when I was coming back from a show (I am a medieval re-enactor/trader in UK) with one of my closest friends. It was a long drive and the sun was setting over a forest of silver birch while we just sat in comfortable silence enjoying the soundtrack to a beautiful moment. He has since died of cancer but this will always be one of my fondest memories of him. Such soul and beauty coming from the man and the guitar, thank you.

I never noticed that bench in the original videos. You took an old piano soundboard for the back. That is wicked cool.

I could see Justin Johnson and Tyler Bryant having a really great blues jam.

Absolutely love this guy.

Every nite at dinner I spin thru the music that KZread offers up for something to listen to while preparing and eating dinner. I decided to choose the first music theme that i looked at and this was it. This is by far the most interesting stuff I have ever heard.. This guy can really make a guitar talk. I am no linguist but I'd say it's the blues. Yup.
