Blues fans stunned by Berube firing
St. Louis Blues fans were talking Wednesday night after the sudden departure of head coach Craig Berube.
Some were at the team practice Wednesday looking for signs of life from a team that recently lost four straight games.
After a ticker tape parade to wrap up the 2019 season, most Blues fans said they were ready to give Berube a key to the city.

Chief should have fired Armstrong first.
We’re pissed.
What does Armstrong expect? He disposed of all of the Blues star players without replacing them with an equivalent or even replacing them at all. He got rid of Perron, Tarasenko, O’Reilly and Barbeshev the same season, and the very next season we had roughly the same roster as before with players from the farm club brought up. He’s too cheap to make any risky moves, and doesn’t even make impactful moves during the trade deadline, because he’s too cheap to pay for a free agent that may only be with us for a playoff run. Prior to this, he let Petrangelo walk, who should’ve been a franchise player for the Blues. He’s the closest defenceman the Blues have had up to the level of Pronger and MacInnis, and you can’t get those level of players on a trade anymore. -gets rid of Perron, O’Reilly, Barbashev, Tarasenko -only resigns Sunquivst. -wonders why team is sucking

How is Armstrong/ the Blues too cheap? They spend all the way to the cap? Armstrong has just done a terrible job.

Honestly, many fans should realize this is a business. Folks pay $200 for tickets! To say "It's NOT CB's fault that these guys don't seem to care!" REALLY?? Does HE care that THEY don't care! That'll get you fired! A HOT 'Binner winner chicken dinner' and balanced team won our ONLY SC in 53 years ... not Craig Berube, folks!!! We'll get a lucky bounce back-to-success just like a puck off the crossbar and both posts! LGBluuuuessss!

And Binnington was like 5th on the depth chart in 2019, and only made it to the club because of several injuries. What does that tell you about Armstrong?
