Bluejay 96khz PWM on Mobula6 HDZero setup

Ойын-сауық

Bluejay 96khz PWM on Mobula6 HDZero setup makes the Mob6 HDZero fly so much better. It feels much lighter and more responsive with lesser propwash and yaw washout.
So in this video I've decided to flash the Bluejay firmware and try it out to see if it makes a huge difference between the previous Blheli_s and Bluejay@96khz

    Brilliant mod! I think the 96khz does give it that extra edge for its small form factor. As a non-acro FPV flier, I am more interested in the other frequency setting esc-flashing that gives longest flight time. Nonetheless, this mod is really cool too! 👍😎

    Hi, I flashed Bluejay 0.16 to Happymodel Mobula7 ELRS X12 v1.0 at 96KHz motors didn't start. At 48KHz , Bidirectional Dshot 300 with Rpm filtering, it's flying ok, not great, but I often get temperature warning , I noticed CPU load at 38%. Could you advise ? Thanks.

    Hey bro!! Yes, I didnt in the video as I forgot to(much apologies), but the actual one I did enable it. Dont forget to bring the startup up to 1100. CPU load at 38 is ok. Of course if u can bring it down in other areas would be great. But my other whoop couldnt be flashed with Bluejay.. so i think its the bluejay version as its still in its experimental stage.

    Looks good. I put the new happy model elrs spi board in an old mobula6 with 0802 19,000kv motors. It's flying really well on BF 4.3 final and I get 3.5 to 4 minutes flight time on a 350mah battery. Do you think it would be worth trying bluejay on that configuration?

    Hey man! I got my mobula 8 o3 and ive been flying the frick out of it! Really amazing. Alot of fun. I notice at start of my flights i get alot of shaking, but as the voltage goes down it isnt so bad, also at rhe start of rhe battery when i throttle up it shoots up to the sky a little uncontrollably, would this be my bluejay settings? I flashed it with 48khz and jist coppied the happymodem manula for other reccomended settings, other rhan that flys great just feels shakey at the start of the pack

  • @shogunemperor

    @shogunemperor

    Hey bro! Glad ur enjoying it man! No, thats actually the high voltage of the lipo and settings from the higher filters settings that causes that as the Mob8 was tuned pretty high to sustain its acro abilities. So any higher it will go nuts when u arm it. One way to soften this is to turn on the vbat compensation or decrease the filters on betaflight. But it might make some weird changes so i suggest just leaving it as-is to avoid trouble. Its the same with mine too. Thanks for dropping in bruddah

    @@shogunemperor I tested and the motors was rotating to the correct direction with direction "normal" in esc-configurator, but my problem is that in low rpm (between 1000 and 1200 of power on betaflight motors tab) my motor number 1 it's not rotating and it's only vibrating. But if I change the params of min power and max start power on esc-configurator, motor 1 works but motor 3 stops.. hahaha The problem is that on bluejay firmware I can't set this values individualy by motor. It's a general param that is assumed by all 4 motors. I think that, as my motors are not so new (they already shocked sometimes with the wall.. hahaha) they have different parameters, then maybe I need to set different values to min and max power on esc-configurator by each motor. This option is not available, then I am trying to find a value that works good in all 4 motors. 😄
