You’re using poppers and they’re on sand eels. That’s why you’re not hooking up. Next time try a smaller stickbait or a hogy type lure on a jigheas

@@peterk814 Hey Mr. 'I'm better than you': if you knew anything you'd know that "a hookup every cast" = a complete bunch of BS when it comes to Tuna fishing! Also you have no clue as to what was being fished at the time. We had "smaller stickbaits and hogy type lure on a jigheads" in the water at the same time as the poppers. Maybe you shouldn't ASSume so much.

@@peterk814 Actually, the captain in this video, John McMurray, writes the articles you are referring to...here is a great article he published last month...talks about using small baits.... www.sportfishingmag.com/take-mid-atlantic-tuna-on-eels/ The guys casting are his clients that day. It was their first time offshore fishing. They had a blast, biggest fish was 80lbs and was caught on a RonZ below the blitzing fish.
