I've always been jealous of the drumline as a wind player. they seem to have so much fun doing this with all the calling and funny shit they do during the shows and practice.

Closest thing I've seen to what it's like marching on the field. You can kinda hear what's going on but you mainly just listen to each other and do your thing. It's a blur and you're going on pure talent and muscle memory from playing these licks literally thousands of times. Back when I marched we didn't have Go Pros, count yourselves lucky the technology you guys have these days to remember how great percussion and marching is. You can't describe it unless you've done it. Way to go Bloooooo! You've deserved this for a while.

It's really great how much fun they're having... All of the high fives and random verbal crap lol

Imagine what would or could happen if many of these players didn't have to quit at age-out. Imagine the top band, or an All-star mix, perform (and getting paid to) at Super Bowl half time, where fans get to see amazingly athletic maneuvers and hear full stadium Drum Corps Sound.

the drumline is just a perpetual "me and the boys" scene

It's the little things like when he shakes the guardswoman's hand and the fist bump right before the snare feature are so wholesome because you can tell they all have a level of respect for one another. You can tell with the audibles and stuff that they live what they do. This was a very good show.
