Fun fact: Baleen whales are carnivores just like the ancestor, Basilosaurus. But unlike Basilosaurus who chased and killed other animals by biting, baleen whales are adapted to just swallow whatever is in front of them.

Right? I was wondering the same like how many gallons in one scoop of its mouth. How do they get it al out before the next attempt and you’d also think it’s food might come out also. You ever seen them gutting a large squid? Saw that yesterday again I don’t understand how things work when it’s like one end opens the other is a dead end and the inside from mouth is hollow! Where does digestion take place? Lol ugh you should search the squid though it’s sick but a trippy thing to see also!!

@@dimitristsekeris1821 there's always the wind, the sounds the ocean makes and the sound of the whale moving through the water, the sound of the whale breathing. I know it's hard - you put a mic on a drone and, basically, all you're going to hear is the drone - but with a shotgun mic a couple of underwater mics and some post production creativity, you can put together an experience that comes closer to reality than the usual drone stuff that most folks toss out . . .

Poor krill. Died a gruesome death. First there was screaming. Then gasping for air and the sound of the cries as they slowly digest. Then silence. Nature is brutal. Never let anyone tell you your inhuman for humanly killing an animal for food. Your kill is a lot more human than natures eaten live nature. Have a nice sleep.

only 3% of all animals (vertebrates only) live in the wild. 97% of all vertebrates are domesticated to be slaughtered and fed to humans. That´s the difference.

@@mucsalto8377 That means 3% get eaten alive or die of starvation after a short life. The problem with your stat is that even if it were true, the 97% are only in such numbers because of domestication. In the wild they would be in tiny numbers in comparison, in other words, most only got to exist because they were domesticated stocks.
