After listening I should have put the snowball closer to my mouth! It sounds better than this! I did the snowball dirty 😭! But 100% the Yeti is the GOAT of USB mic’s

Audio is so important. I listened back to the first stream of mine and made the choice right then and there to opt for a USB mic (Blue Yeti Nano) and haven't looked back

I should add that even with cheaper mics, you can always add EQ to them in OBS so the sound best suits your tone and make them sound just as good as some more expensive mics

Totally! You can overcome a lot of issues with USB mics with compressors and EQ!

Get something with a headphone out port. So Either the Blue Yeti or I HIGHLY recommend you look at some of the Fifine Microphones The Fifine K678 in particular, its like a Blue Yeti clone but half the cost! Sounds great! I have a review on it HERE kzread.info/dash/bejne/oHp3qLKCiazKoM4.html

Yo but that just shows you how far you can go with the Snowball! I actually feel like I did the Snowball kinda dirty in this video as I should have put it closer to my mouth! It can sound better than it does in my video!

@@FornaTRON haha it does. Sometimes I’ll sit back in my chair and my snowball sounds like shit because it sounds roomy. Then I’ll sit up and a hands width from the mic. And it sounds like a completely different mic.

I just upgraded from the blue snowball to the yeti, but I'm still not sure if I want to return it. I still don't feel like there's much of a difference when it comes to gaming and using obs. Again that's my personal opinion

If you use obs or streamlabs you can monitor your audio that way as well.

Do you know if there’s any free virtual mixer on Mac similar to voicemeeter on windows so that you can make the audio better?

You could use audacity though to edit the quality of snowball but from your video I think yeti is the obvious choice. I currently have a snowball iCE I bought about 6 years ago but doesn't seem to be compatible with USB 3 and that's frustrating.

Oh yea there’s tons of stuff you can do in post to beef up the sound quality! There are some basic filters in OBS that can even help during live streaming. I prefer the Yeti because it sounds amazing for the price AND it has headphone monitoring! Thanks for checking out my video!

I love my Yeti! If I upgrade it will be either a Shure MV7 or a full on SM7B.

im using the snowball ice but it dont sound the same as the video…

Make sure you have it placed in front of you no more than a fists distance away from your mouth for best results
