It's been a year since I posted this video and I'm actually so happy to see people leaving comments about this song and deep thoughts about their lives. Knowing that this little song can be helpful and relaxing to other ones just as it is to me really glads me, that's the power of videogames and videogame music, it makes us feel. Thank you for passing by, have a great day/night. Update: So, after two years I finally played this game. What an absolute masterpiece it was. I can't describe how fun but also confusing and intriguing was the experience. Normally I focus more on gameplay than plot stuff, but the storytelling, the narrative and characters were awesome. I knew I'd love it but not as much as now. This game was a blast, and hearing this now hits completely different.

28 years waiting for that Godforsaken DLC. Grinding runs wasn't so bad. I hardly remember it. But burning my twenties, watched the wasted thirties fly. . . I replay it every day. It's not the game, it's the lifestyle. I've never finished a platinum run, but it feels like it's near. Every April Fools update is getting longer, the Lo-Fi remixes are getting louder. When the TAS is tied, the grind stops, and you're stuck waiting for the DLC forever. It's. . . shaving milliseconds in a tightening speedrun. I know it's never coming out. I need to ask you a favor.

It’s probably because less people working on a soundtrack means a less jumbled mess, as the more people who work on it the more ideas are thrown into it that just don’t mix.

Generally indie games like this are someone's passion project, and what they lack in massive funding, they more than make up for in heart and soul being poured into it. The creators either find a talented musician to make their score and give them every detail to suceed, or they learn how to make music/improve the musical talent they already had in order to bring the game's soundtrack to life. Maybe this can't be said for every Indie game, but for the greatst, I believe it's true.

I adore the OST of indie-games alike: Kingdom Two Crowns, Hollow Knight, Celeste, Cuphead, Deltarune, Undertale, Sayonara Wild Hearts, Shovel Knight, Terraria, Super Meat Boy, Thumper, Risk of Rain 2, Just Shapes and Beats, Enter the Gungeon, Ori 2, Hades, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Soviet Jump Game, Night in the Woods, Shadow Warrior 3, Spiritfarer, Ultrakill, Post Void, Lethal League Blaze, Prodeus, Ghostrunner, A Short Hike, Cyber Shadow, My Friend Pedro, Rain World, Dusk, Mighty Switch force Collection, The Messanger, Furi, Toree 3D & 2, Everhood, Hotline Miami... and of course Katana ZERO. While I may not like them all, espeically not Ultrakill or Cyber Shadow, yet I can still appreciate their soundtracks. 'Course AAA game studious can also produce bangers if they really feel like it, with hits from: DOOM Eternal, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 1 & 2, Dark souls 1, Resident Evil 1, 2, 3, Portal 1 & 2, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Metal Gear Rising, Ace Attorney series, Devil May Cry 5, Tetris Connected, DOOM 64, Sonic Mania, Journey, and Bayonetta.

My friend passed away in October of this year. This song really gets me in my feelings every time I listen to it. This was one of the games on the gamepass he wanted me to play a couple of months before he passed. I miss my homie I wish I had been there for him I wish I could’ve seen him at least once more. I still remember the day after my other friend came into my house and told me he’s was gone I thought he was joking but he’d been hit by a car and didn’t even make it to the hospital. He died alone in the street I wish I had known I wish I could’ve been there I wish I could’ve pushed him to wear his helmet on his moped more. Every now and then I come to this song and have a good cry for him. I know he’s probably looking down on me asking why I cry so much but it’s because I miss him so much not a single day has been normal and not a day goes by where I don’t think about him.

Honestly after know beating this game I can say it is one of the greatest games of all time and a wonderful masterpiece. This games is one of those few that makes you feel and care for characters plus the gameplay is top notch. Would recommend this to really almost everyone.

I be thinking about this too. I think this track also speaks to my curiosity as well. We can't help but think of the unknown. There has to be a light at the end of the tunnel. As a species, I feel like we shouldn't give up on the pursuit of interstellar space travel

There was a moment when I lost my girlfriend. We had one extremely bad moment and I felt... Empty. Once she said that I need to go through this game and the only thing left for me to feel that connection again was to play this game. I will never forget the emotions, that unique story, that filled me with hope. Hope that once everything will be fine again and I need to keep going no matter what happens. And this track is a reminder. Reminder of hope, that I should never lose. And everytime when something bad happens - this is the OST of comeback to hope.

This game is masterpiece this soundtrack and the scene that zero is talking about when the drugs run out always make me cry i dont know why but i always feel something need to be changed in my life after i listen to this song its like thinking about better tomorrow something that make you forget about past and do something you can proud of I can’t describe it in words but the only thing i can say is that this is a whole masterpiece 10/10

I first started katana zero about a year ago during college, i played about half of it but dropped it because i wasnt too interested, i went back a few weeks ago and finished it, i then told my roommate to play it too and he did. Best decisions we’ve ever made. This game is absolutely stunning, the art, music, gameplay, story, everything. I love this game so much and im happy to say that its going to be put into a group with all the other pixel games that dont get enough recognition like Hyper Light Drifter and The Final Station. This song single handedly made me want to buy Katana Zero. I'm going to buy a physical copy of the game when they come available. This played in the LRG trailer and I was instantly drawn into the game. It touched a part of my soul a game hadn't in a very very long time. It drew out all of the nostalgia of a vaporwave track, but there was something else there. Haunting, it left me transformed. I can't believe it is hitting other people like this too. I fall asleep to it some nights and dream of darkness invaded by neon light and blood soaked cyber cityscapes we were promised but will never see.

A seemingly commonly underrated or overlooked song from the soundtrack, a shame. S'pose the same could be said 'bout the game itself, heh. Sad. This song gets me so emotional every time I listen to it. Fell asleep listening to this while drinking last night, a lot of emotions were involved haha! I got no future, and in a way, I seek none. In the grand-scheme o' things I've done nothing. Even for all the people I've hurt, the people I've let down, and for the folks who hate me; I am still here. Why? The only joy I find in life is from music & video-games, they make me forget reality, or they help me understand it further. I have no gods to pray to, but I still pray that some day things will change. I pray for a life worth living without this modern-day 24/7 bullshit. I'm stuck with two part-time jobs I do not care for, I have no clue what to do anymore, I don't seek to foster a child, I'm demi-gay thus relationships are difficult to even take effect. I have no goals in life. I just want to die and have it all be over, but I just haven't done it yet. I'm not sure when I will. I don't want to hurt anybody further by doing so.
