I'm a Canadian. I have loved this band and song forever . Hadn't heard it in so long. ,the it came on the radio at work today. I of course wà singing away ,then a guy shopping walked past me singing also. I had to smile. . now listening again and even added to my play list on here . ❤

This was my ex wife of 21 years' and my song. After 8 years apart I can finally listen to it without crying. And it feels beautiful.

This song was playing when I got in the car right after putting my best friend Daisy put to sleep sleep. It's going on 9 months and I still can't get over the loss of her. Sure she was just a dog but she was my EVERYTHING. Earlier that year I lost my best friend George then a family friend that I considered my uncle then my mom October 29th then my brother December 18th and the morning of my birthday lost my special sister. The loss of Daisy was the last thing I could have ever imagined to happen, it happened out of the blue and was very unexpected. Sometimes I don't even know how i have the energy to even get out of bed. Life can be so cruel

and lang, Rush, the Hip, SOTW, Mitchell, Lightfoot, Murray et al. Canada has given priceless gifts to the world in music. That being said. It's almost undone by springing Bieber and Men Without Hats on us.

Used to listen to this band living in Buffalo in the late ‘90’s!!! Just caught their song on Resident Alien!!! I turned to my 32 yr old daughter, and said “I know that band”!

Going to my first show in Montreal in Oct. US fan since 1992. I can’t wait!!!!!

One of those songs that with just a bar or two can make you feel, however briefly, exactly as you did in one particular moment in time in the ever more distant past.

My favorite all Canadian boy band .❤ Seen them in concert 5 times . This song is so amazingly beautiful and the spirit of the 70's floating thru the caverns of my soul... Just stunning lyrics and sound.. I'd pay Large to see them one more time live in concert... #Best Canadian Boy Band Ever.

I lived in Toronto back in the late eighties and got to see them play on Canada Day by city hall in North York - great Canadian talent.

This is such a hippie song; I love it.

Dad and I went on a trip to Salmon arm to the roots n blues festival. I only knew blue rodeo. He was addicted to crack. He had to stop many times to have a hoot. Stayed a hotel that he only smoked his crack. Finally got to the festival as blue rodeo was playing, I remember a song playing I recognized as I stayed in my tent because I did not want to leave. I was so disappointed in that trip!!! But have had better ones since, 😁

this band reminds me of my late teens, early 20s. it was part of who i was, and their songs are the soundtrack of my life during that time. getting old sucks cuz i still feel so young yet i'm getting so old.

"Lost Together" - it's a song I've shared often on my feed, and while it started as a love song, Blue Rodeo almost always close their shows with it now, and almost always make it a COMMUNAL moment, having other artists join them on stage, wherever they are playing, and also having the audience sing it with them. Everything we do right now needs to be a COMMUNAL moment, needs to be about all of us and not just self... Love this song. Goodnight, friends. Pay it forward.

Saw them yesterday and they still do this. Had Big Wreck come out and Ian Thornley did the second verse all with the crowd singing together. Was awesome.

30 years later and I still get goose bumps when Greg strains his voice.

Played this at my mothers funeral, she always played it for me growing up. Now every time I hear it, It brings the most extraordinary feeling of heart warming, dis pare and intellectual resemblance.

one of the best bands of the 80's this was when music was music and instruments were played . Love them

This song 🎧 brings one person to my mind and that’s my mom who I lost to suicide in June 2010, we’ve both went to see blue rodeo together, love ❤️ you mom and miss you very much each day that goes by. 🙏

one of the great unifying songs from Canada. I think blue rodeo is a band that we all love and think of as our best kept secret and we have them all to our selves. A great song that can bring us all together and see that we are all family in some way.

I heard this on the radio yesterday for the first time in over a decade or two, it felt like finally coming home from a long journey.

....stumbling from one disaster to another....great line.

I need to make a comment, though it's been a while...these guys rock...seriously....fast forward to 2020-til present, with everything we have all gone thru, these guys played the capital of Canada, despite all the hoopla, and those very streamers who recorded the truth of the recent events, were doing their due diligence and in the middle of it all there is Blue Rodeo, playing in a park for their Canadian fans...it was crystal clear, filling the air with such energy...gave me shivers...

STILL the best band to see live! Have been seeing them since the 90's. Good looking, normal, healthy guys who seem happy and aren't weird or strung out... Saw them last night at the Budweiser Stage with Serena Ryder... Sang "Lost Together" as closing song with Serena.. What a voice!! OUTSTANDING DUO!!! A world-class performance that belongs front and centre stage on a major international broadcast... Canadians are lucky to call these guys their own. I think I have an even bigger crush on them now. :-)

Never Forget first time I heard Lost Together. Was at the cottage with my husband. Thought we would be lost together forever - how wrong one can be!

Lost together. Dream in a snow covered winter. Wind howling. ( I dont know if howls, but i imagine). Hard crackling ground. This band are great. Really great.❤

3 years ago I seen Jim Cuddy at a Tim Horton's and my kids thought I was being so weird because I was shaking his hand and telling him how I was a big fan of his music.

Picture last call at your favourite bar in your hometown: waitresses are cleaning up empties, telling the guys it's their last game of pool, and if you don't drink 'em, she'll dump 'em, lights are coming on, in one corner, some guys are crying and hugging, in another, a couple are dancing, and a few guys are about to brawl in the parking lot. The Mounties are doing their usual, Saturday night walk-through, and just as you're about to grab your jacket , you look up at the stage, and see these guys. Playing this song. Then, somehow, as if on cue, everyone in the bar stops and starts singing along with the last chorus. That's the video I see.

Having growing up in the GTA in the 80s and 90s it seamed that Blue Rodeo was playing at a lot of the events I went too. They are one of my top favorite bands.

I remember when this came out, still brings a tear to my eye

Saw them in concert with a girl that I'll never forget, and this song always reminds me of that night. Avoided it for a long time but here I am. Great Canadian band, great song.

Make no mistake about it...THE BEST & TRUE MUSICIANS~ARE ALL CANADIAN!!!!!!! HELL YAA!!!! ROCK & ROLL ON!!! OR WATEVER U LIKE THAT'S CANADIAN!!!!!!

Sorry for your loss Jason....I lost my Dad 9 years ago, I’m telling you that it never goes away, it changes and feels different. It becomes easier to deal with in time for me and I am the youngest of 4, the only girl and I was a SUPER HUGE DADDYS GIRL!! Miss him with all my heart and am so blessed to still have my Mom but Dad your still thought of and missed EVERYDAY!!😘 to the heavens for you Daddy😇
