I can´t pick a favorite either, been listening since 2003, stil havent got tired of one single song from this band, best lyrics in the music industry the last 25 years

These lyrics are really hitting hard for me. Blue October are so perfect in the way that you can relate to the lyrics, and then realize that you're relating to the artist; There's at least one other person who has went through what you're feeling when you hear their music.

I miss my ex husband every single day, I loved that man more than anyone or anything. Saying goodbye changed me forever. He's lost in drugs, I'm raising our kids with a fantastic man... a real man. But he's not Luke and sometimes it's all too much. Life is pretty fucked up. Love you always my high school man!

I love Blue October because the songs are so depressing and uplifting it all depends when I listen to it if I'm sad or if I'm happy they coincide with fluctuations of the brain I don't know where to run and hide or just jump out in the crowd and feel normal and that's what life's about..... I'm glad I'm strong enough to have my own mind and enjoy the music and life is once again fun and tolerable

He loves the winter, but it smells too much like memories...

I like his honesty and I love the instrumentals. It makes you.........

It's funny because Justin told me once that he does some of his best singing when he is down and his early albums clearly show that when he was having such a rough times with his child and his mental state of mind etcetera and being in and out of several groups and things like that but now that he is happy and I'm glad he is, the lyrics are far more upbeat and harder Rock and cetera but they still kick ass but I definitely like the first three albums the all time best, the answers, consent to treatment, and history for sale are my three all-time favorite albums from anyone ever to this date. They are simply amazing

So I'm the newest comment and I say the song is great for whatever weakness that pulls me I will stay strong..... I guess everybody loves depression but I won't bring you down... the great thing about Blue October is that the songs of depression do nothing but lift... unless you're too far gone...... I forgot to say you're never too far gone

Awesome song. I have all their CDS and digital. Some of the captions here are silly like where he says he's " not going to try to comprehend what Justin is singing here". He wasn't singing then not words anyway..lol. He was basically humming along but it wasn't actual words at all and not supposed to be. Just harmonizing vocally until the next chorus starts

Am I not listening to the same song??? There are a bunch of lyrics on the screen that I cannot hear being sung at all. "In not even going to try to type what Justin is saying here." I must've rewound that shit twenty times and even put on headphones and I STILL couldn't hear it!!! In other words, stop typing a bunch of extra crap in your lyric videos. At least not in the same font/color/style/video cues.

Just posted the same....he wasn't TRYING to sing. There are no lyrics in that place in the song he was simply harmonizing/humming along until the next chorus. Lol. Glad someone else knew this too. I just posted the same thing. This person obviously doesn't know the nature of the singing of this band much or at least didn't back then as this is their first album. +1
