Cause there's no chance that really dead looking fish is in fact dead and came up dead. Way too far to tell but could well be a fat black which are known for fighting until dead, particularly if caught on relatively light tackle like a 50 or 80 that can't end a fight with that large a marlin quickly. So maybe before you climb up on your soap box and preach C&R you should actually know if that was a possibility bro, or if the fact they at least kept it from sinking out and feeding the crabs was the best possible outcome.

Yeah our resources are gone because a sport fisherman caught a single fish in a day, not because of the commercial fishing boats pulling in 500 of these in a single net drag. Also that fish isn’t surviving a catch and release after a 4hr battle with it.

It's a lot healthier to eat than tuna is. Tuna has very high levels of mercury and lead just like dark chocolate has but nearly 100 times the levels.

Cause there's no chance that really dead looking fish is in fact dead and came up dead. Way too far to tell but could well be a fat black which are known for fighting until dead, particularly if caught on relatively light tackle like a 50 or 80 that can't end a fight with that large a marlin quickly. So maybe before you climb up on your soap box and preach C&R you should actually know if that was a possibility bro, or if the fact they at least kept it from sinking out and feeding the crabs was the best possible outcome.

Yeah our resources are gone because a sport fisherman caught a single fish in a day, not because of the commercial fishing boats pulling in 500 of these in a single net drag. Also that fish isn’t surviving a catch and release after a 4hr battle with it.

When you bring in a Marlin and it won't survive, catch and release, you eat it. It's a Dishonor to waste a trophy fish if it will die.
