My Brother and Myself loved Blue magic, we were big fans when we were Younger. We always listened to their music even as we grew up. We would go on double dates and enjoy the songs of the Blue. Sadly cancer has taken my Brother from me back in Jan 2016. When I hear these songs, Especially this one, "I heard your going away" It tears me up! We were only a year and a half apart and we were close, I miss my older Brotha!!! :)

I was working on a train out of Trenton, and I noticed my idol Ted Mills seated in the last car.I had met him years before while working part time @ Club 88 in East Orange, where I use to set the stage for shows and do sound checks with the mics. We had a great conversation on how he got started on his first Blue Magic album. Just back fresh from Viet Nam he started writing lyrics while playing those 88's.What a remarkable Talent from Philly! Ted Mills is also a Temple U Alumni, that is where they first heard his Magnificent Tenor collaborating with The Late Great Vince Montana.
