@Mark D - Au contraire mon frere....damn the fluglehorn player is A dope and does NOT know what he''s doing, and clearly neither do you! He should stick to the melody because his improvisation was _terrible._ He needs to work more on ad libing instead of posing and throwing his weight around at other members of the band.
Give them a break. Good contribution from all the soloists. Especially like the sax solo and hear a Joe Henderson influence there. Wish I could play like that and I'm at it thirty years.
I wish I had a piano player like this guy in my band. Awesome
Came for a quick listen and stayed for the whole song. Very cool.
This music will nor die! Next generation running with the baton.
Great job guys! Ordinary mortals have no idea how difficult it is to do what your'e doing. You give me great hope for the future of music, and I wish you huge success!
It's always pleasing to hear the next generation playing jazz. Keep going guys, it's a lifetime's journey. I would say, get away from the chart as soon as you can and feel each other a bit more. The flugel player didn't need to be so eager to solo, let the pianist do his thing, he's the musical leader of the band. Tenor solo was so considered in its build-up, really told a story. Nice job guys!

kereeen mantapoo
Pretty damn good, however I have a few critiques, here's one for the guitarist. You seem to be strumming the chords which is fine, however, for blue bossa I would use a vamp like bossa nova style plucking the chords, rather than strumming them. Also flugelhorn, I would say for the solo have less flash and more focus on the melody and rythmn and how it all ties in with the chords. Same for the saxophone player but to a lesser extent.

It's because the pianist is playing a completely different melodic melody that has a chord progression different from the progression of blue bossa but the progression of the piano complements the progression of blue bossa in a way that gives more flexibility and more resolve in the theoretical errors of blue bossa and combined with the upbeat tempo of the other melody and the bassist playing only the root and fifth of blue bossa gives the band as a whole a nineth chord progression that allows the wind players more flexibility in their solos

Good To See Young Players Playing Jazz. While The Sax Solo Was Going On The Keyboard Was Too Busy. When We Combine To Play We Must Always BLEND Especially Taking A Lower Profile While Others Are Soloing. It's Musically Rude To "Step On Someone's Solo"...Some Cats Will Be Offended.

Liked them a lot. Thought the piano player kind of hogged the spotlight with too long of improv, and when he was comping behind other players he was too forceful, almost competing. Great potential tho.
