Thanks for the movie room update Alan, it shows the dedication you have in keeping your collection well organised and displayed. I can appreciate what you have done as I'm the same. I find it quite relaxing to arrange and rearrange things from time to time. This is one of the main advantages (displaying case/artwork etc) of physical media collecting compared with digital media collecting. Nice to see a cameo from Ernie!

Hi mate, oh yeah definitely I’m always moving things around, I find it quite relaxing lol you can’t beat physical copies, taking the movie off the shelf and looking at the artwork and maybe art cards and posters inside boutique titles, every who comes over always takes a look in the library haha, they can’t keep away. I will def have to pick up that complete set of The Vikings, loved the show, still haven´t seen the last season (part 2). Absolutely amazing movie room, looks brilliant, and very professional! Hi Benn, you better prepare then as we are meant to have a very nice upcoming week, weather wise 🤣 I’ve not seen a single episode of Vikings (not even a clip) I’m assuming it’s a good show then mate (as your going to get it) thanks mate, it’s nice to put all the little pieces and props in the room as some of them have been stored away in the attic (i actually found some movie prop coins from One of the Toby Maguire SpiderMan films in a box in my wardrobe draw so I’m going to have to find a space for them in the library) cheers mate, enjoy the rest of your weekend 👍😀👍

Hi Alan, think the last time i watched Accused i think it must have been on tv all those years ago, one of those films that for some reason sort of disappeared, Those posters look fantastic, very old school if that makes sense. that statue of John Wayne is brilliant, fantastic movie room buddy.

A lot of great releases at HMV this week. The movie Prop of the knife that you showed was from the dark Knight the joker used it . I love the style of your movie room ,you have so many collectibles but you fit them in nicely so they look like they don’t take up much room. Alphabetical order is the way to go in collections, It’s easier to find and enjoy the room itself . I like how you have Placeholders for what movies gets borrowed, I think next you should make rental cards for your family lol 😂 it was a great movie room tour as always Alan , can’t wait to see what the next updates to your movie room will be. 👍🏻🍻

Hi Mike, yeah I think your right about the knife prop, I got it from Comic-Con (it said it was screen used) I agree alphabetical is definitely my was to display the movies (apart from individual collections like the HMV Premium films) I should also charge for the films, I would make a fortune haha, thanks matey, take care👍😀👍

Hi Sir Alan, I have seen "The Accused" starring Jodie Foster, many, many years ago, a decent movie as i remember, Ernie the Pug is looking healthy ,well & cute also. The movie room looking damn impressive, plenty of hours went into getting it to your liking, a superb tv series collection, i see you have "The Incredible Hulk" tv series which i"ve been thinking about getting, a fav as a kid back in the day. You are the Premium collector & what a collection of the HMV editions, i see that Kermit is sleeping in the boss"s chair ha, ha !!! Great video as always !!!

Hi Alan, Great to see Ernie, so cute. The accused I have not seen since vhs days and when they kept playing it on tv back then, it’s a great film but does have its tough moments if i remember correctly. Tourist tv series got a lot of love but for me it was a let down, it started well but then went down hill and the tone was all over the place. Very nice of Jamie with the sub mail. Funny enough I only picked up kumiko a month or so ago also, I still not seen it but glad to hear it was good. I didn’t think your room could get any better but I was wrong, the layout and everything about it is stunning. Love the classic posters at the end of the shelf also. Loving all your collectibles also, it’s all first class. I think you may be getting more blurays then me 🤔 Great video and have a nice weekend

Hi Gary, Ernie is completely mad and has way too much energy haha. Yeah I’m the same, I’ve not seen The Accused since the VHS days. Hope you enjoy Kumiko (it was one of those films that took me by surprise) cheers mate, I really should get a move on with the room, it’s taking me so long to complete it haha, I also found a movie prop that was used in one of the SpiderMan films in a draw in stored away years ago, so that will have to be put on display too (its coins, I think it’s from SpiderMan 3 when the Sandman robs a bank) any chance of you returning to KZread mate? That’s very kind of you to say about my KZread videos, I have no plans of returning as yet unless I come up with something that makes them more interesting. I may do a movie room tour soon, I have a few days of this week so have been building some more shelves. You were taking so long to come over and do them for me I decide to do them myself 😂 They are definitely no where near the quality and to your standard unfortunately but they will do the job for now, I just hope they don’t fall down. Amazing Collection Alan, i'm particularly fond of your TV Show collection...you've got some great titles there😅 Season 4 of Yellowstone is available to import from Amazon (US). It released last week & comes with a slip. There's also a copy of Jack Ryan S1 with a slip on Ebay for £12.99👍

I've heard of the movie Gorgo before and I've seen the actor Bill Travers before in a movie called The Smallest Show on Earth which also has actors like Peter Sellers, Leslie Phillips and Margaret Rutherford in it. It was written by William Rose who also wrote The Ladykillers which is a film I love. I have The Smallest Show on Earth on blu ray, would recommend it if you haven't seen it, it is a good film.

Well I hope they turned up safe and sound mate, my deliveries don’t come at a certain time, they range from 9am right up to 5pm, I think we have a different postman/woman every week, take care👍😀👍

Still not seen Vikings but I hear great things and S6 Pt 2 has been a long time coming for some reason... glad we are getting the 1-6 full set as I'd rather get that than the seasons separately myself, especially as the latter seasons are released in 2 parts. Guess which version of The Shooter is on the table next to me, knowing my preferences 😉 Didn't catch The Tourist on TV, though it looked interesting, and I know some people were confused near the end so maybe a nice rewatchable set would help to make sure the info didn't arrive too fast to keep up with... I picked up Black Lagoon a while back as it sounded good to me but my version misses the OVA episodes "Roberta's Blood Trail" which is now hard (and expensive) to find separately so I wish I'd got the full set... oh well. You'd have thought Japanese people would be wary of playing strange VHS tapes by now 🤣 but the movie does sound interesting and fun I must say... should I see Fargo first?! Just ordered The Accused last night actually and same as you, not usually a fan of the genre but remember this one being very good and worthy of a purchase. I *NEED* that number of shelves... I'm in so much trouble with space (and that includes trouble from upsetting my wife by not being able to keep titles neat as I've run out. Sadly I am really poor at any DIY (it's a miracle I managed my present shelves and I was younger and more flexble when those went up!) and I think to stand any chance I'll be paying out for someone to do something specialist... and it still won't be as good as yours... . But you obviously put in so much effort (as well as having the ability) it is a real inspiration. I didn't realise there were that many additional "101 Movies..." books over the basic ones I have so I think I'll be looking at those - thanks! Absolutely stunning video and update; brilliant to watch. Thank you for showing 👍

Hi Justin, I’ve not seen Vikings either I think the complete collection set is a wise move unless they start the show up again like Dexter lol, Shooter is such a good film apart from Danny Glovers teeth don’t seem to fit and when he speaks I fear they are going to fly out his mouth haha. That’s a shame about the missing elements of Black Lagoon. I guess you don’t technically have to see Fargo to get what’s happening in Kumiko The Treasure Hunter but I will advise to to watch it all the same and yeas VHS found tapes are a no no haha especially in Asia. When I started building the library I really just played it by ear, I’m not a carpenter by any means , just handy with a powersaw and hammer and nails and I really made it up as I went along and often had to remove and recut timber lol I had made a few bookcase before hand and I think I approached this project one bookcase at a time rather than thinking I’m doing the whole room as that would have been daunting, thanks for the kind words and excellent comment mate, take care👍😀👍

Hi Mark, great question mate and no I don’t mind you asking at all…Ernie should definitely have his own channel, I’ve told my daughter (his mum) but she’s a busy woman. Oddly enough I’ve been looking to get some spools for the projector but have been unsuccessful so far. I’m the type of person that feels you must enjoy life to the fullest as it’s very brief and you don’t want to regretting what you could have done at the end of things. Buying and watching films makes me happy and I don’t regret anything, it’s all part of life experience. I’ve seen people save all there lives and not spend anything scared they will run out of money only to pass away and there children inherit and spend the lot on holidays and home improvements and I say good for them (the children) because they have enjoyed the money. I know there will probably be films I’ll never get around to watching but I had good intentions when I bought them and people borrow films from the library all the time so they are being used if not by me, then by others. In terms of money, I don’t drink/smoke/gamble so I guess this is my indulgence, but it’s more than just collecting, movies have always been a big enjoyment in my life, watching with friends and family (as a family, we are going to Comic-Con in July as well) so it’s one of those things that bring families and communities together. Don’t worry if your films gather dust, they aren’t going anywhere, I’m sure you’ll get around to them when the time is right to watch them. Hi Ray, I should be good for a few more years, as there is another 5 bookcase I’m going to put in the room which will be space for around 3 to 4 thousand more movies but I know how it feels to run out of space, before I had this room, my collection was spread all over the house, take care mate👍😀👍

I know you've seen my videos with videos with my friends Kenzie and Fenton. Kenzie is my friend with blonde hair and Fenton is my friend with ginger hair. Me, Kenzie and Fenton all haven't been to the cinema throughout the entire pandemic. Have you been to cinema during the pandemic? I get the feeling you probably haven't because it seems like whenever you pick up new films you didn't see them in the cinema.

Hi Jared, I’ve seen a few films over the last couple of months but I usually don’t visit the cinema much as teenagers in Brighton tend to make way too much noise and ruin the film for others, but recently I’ve seen Uncharted, SpiderMan No Way Home, Eternals and a few others and during each and every one there has been disruption, I don’t usually say if I’ve been to see a film as there are enough movie reviews in the community, take care👍😀👍

Amazing room Alan. I see you don’t actually have a cinema surround set up, have you thought of getting one or you happy with the TV sound? As with all of us who collect do you think much about when you run out of room and what to do?

Hi Richard, your right, in the library I have a Bose sound bar and it’s absolutely brilliant for the room, across the hall, in another room I have the same TV and in that room I have a really nice cinema surround set up (greedy I know haha), cheers mate, take care👍😀👍

Hi Stacey, yeah, I went over to read it and had a chuckle myself, that’s my kinda humour for sure. The Oz figures I picked up from Florida back in 1997, they were a gift for my mother and a few years ago she was about to throw them out (cheeky I know) so I salvaged them, I think they are too nice to be chucked away, ohh they were from a Warner Brothers store in the Orange County Mall, take care👍😀👍

Great Video Kermits Ghost fantastic movie room i remember getting a few Marvel Movie Collection figures they are expensive it went from £11.99 to £12.99 then pandemic happened and Eaglemoss decided to put up the prices to £15.99 same amount for Blu-Ray also do you own Zorro (1975) released by 101 films on Blu-Ray if you can could you get footage on what the Blu-Ray looks like the reason why i am asking is because i tried to buy the film but it seem to be out of print

Hi mate, thank you I really appreciate it, yeah they just kept putting the price up and the deliveries kept being delayed (despite taking the payments first) so I just stopped about 10 figure before it ended…the 1975 release of Zorro is the Alain Dellon film, is available through Amazon UK but used copies for around £6, I don’t own it myself (yet) hope that helps mate, take care👍😀👍

Really liking the movie room Alan. Over the past week I managed to pick up four DVDs (Becoming Bond documentary, about how George Lazenby got the role). Everything or nothing me untold story, the untold story of James Bond documentary. I also got the UK DVD cuts of license to kill and goldeneye, these versions are the ones from 2001 before the US uncut versions were released for the first time on DVD in 2006, the 2006 versions within the basis for the 2012 Blu-ray. I managed to watch nobody on sky cinema the other day, I was just thinking like John Wick, I like 😜😂🖤 Anyway I hope you and yours are doing well? How’s Melanie doing? Is she feeling less on edge or not? Either way all the best and big cuddles from me. 🖤 PS I really haven’t spent too much on buying physical media because I had my council tax and at least half my water bill to pay, not to mention I’ve still got my other bills outstanding.

Hi Eva, thank you👍 I don’t realise there were cut version on the Bond films, I wonder what the difference is 🤔 I believe Nobody was from either the same writer or same director (or both) it is very similar but that’s not her new with Hollywood 🤣 I did think Bob was a good choice for the lead role though. Melanie is considering going into rest bite for a week or two, hopefully that will help 🤞 (thanks for asking) yeah, it’s a pain when the bills come in, especially with everything going up, take care and big hugs 👍😀👍

@@kermitsghost Is that your way of saying she’s okay but she’s not okay if we’re being blunt here? Your wording is just concerning in my borderline head. Or is it a case she needs to resetting her brain and then she’ll be fine for a bit? I can respect that by the way. Yeah all new Hollywood wants to do is make money and the fastest way of doing it. So I knew about goldeneye (it basically bottom lines to edited head-butt shots during fights). I didn’t know about license to kill until I watched it recently and came up during some research for some of the stuff that I was doing for the film because reasons. It’s decreasing the whipping, Sanchez’s death and the scene where Sanchez puts the guy in the air pressure container and his head explodes, there’s no explosion. Basically there’s a whole thing of it online where you can look for things that got cut, luckily from 2006 the BBFC eased up on the reins for those two films but as somebody who likes to have various cards, I just needed it for the collection even though I wanna get a sealed copy of the 2002 box set where those versions of those movies come from. While I remember I’m pretty sure that the Joker knife is from the dark Knight (2008). Just look at the scene where you see all those knifes in a row when he is in the police station. In terms of nobody I think it’s the producer, I know going forward they wanna make subtle hints but because it’s different production companies, you know how it is but as the director said stranger things have happened.

@@Eva_H sorry for the confusion Eva, she’s kinda the same, still agitated and feels a week or so away will take the edge off, especially as we are going away in a few months on a boat trip in England with some of her family (for 10 days) and the idea of it is adding to the stress levels (which is odd as it was her idea in the first place) fingers crossed a little time resting will prepare her for it. I appreciate all the info you typed out about the Bond changes 👍 I picked up the Joker Knife from a convention a few years ago and I’m sure your right about it. Take care👍😀👍
