Great variant - I really like it! I’m sure the wild Brook Trout in my Eastern mountain creeks will slam it!!!

Cool Variant Jake, I love to tie this fly with a thicker collar, steelies love it and in aqua and dark blue brownies love it.

@@TheFlyFiend Jake, essentially New York state. I live in New Hampshire but I make probably more trips than I should each fall (currently adding more for this spring). We also have lake run rainbows and landlocked salmon here in NH too. Where are you located Jake?
