Blowback Rig How to Tie for Big Carp Fishing
Спорт
In this video I am showing you how to tie a Blowback Rig for carp fishing. This rig works so well in catching the largest fish in the area you are fishing and is hard to eject. The best part of this rig also is if a carp picks up the bait and drops it the blow back rig will reset itself instead of getting tangled.

Simple, effective very well explained and a brilliant tutorial that leaves you in no doubt what to do BRAVO
I think you were meant to strip the braid on the hair , allows more movement
With the hair being so long it's a possibility of it wrapping around the hook. Always enjoy your packbait (spod mix) clips .

Thanks for watching! In my opinion every single rig out there has the chance of tangling. The huge reason for the longer length is if you have it too close to the hook the fish can eject both the bait and the hook whereas when it is farther away the hook stays in the mouth as the bait gets ejected out resulting in more hook ups. A lot of times I use pva with these so on the cast the pva seperates the bait from the hook and tangles but there is always the chance.

Hi.. when you cast this rig, is tangle free, or mast use some stick mix down...tks!
Hey Brian can you use split rings of the same size instead of the rig rings their size 3 eagle claw split rings that have 5 mm inside dim.
Best video on a carp rig I could find. I'm gonna make a few of these exact rigs because I'm going for some huge south Florida buffalo carp. Any tips?
where can we buy the things used to make this rig
Nice,, have to try that out, I just started using the standard snow man rig and it seems to be working for me ,still catching nothing as nice as yours though. I'm going to keep fishing longer into the season this year... maybe get into some bigger fish...

It is a great rig, Not too crazy to learn either. Once the water temps cool down the bite gets better.
I learned it from Kevin Nash but I like the shrink tube you put on yours. I will be trying it soon

Tubing really helps this a lot. Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it.
Nice video as always Brian, thanks. Any special way you store your blow-back rigs to keep that bend, or does the tubing allow it to stay if I keep the rig pinned straight in my Rigsafe Combi Storage Box?

You can use the combi storage box. I just do not pull them right so the bend stays. I use very little pressure and it is just enough to hold it in place

So you use this for baits that are slow sinking, or sinking? When do you use sinking hookbaits over pop ups? I am new to carp. Thank you

Why is that? The mechanics of this certain rig allows it to flip easier in the mouth.
i need a great kettle like that.

You have any rigs that work better in different times of year

Not so much times of year, Basically it comes down to matching the rig with the right baits.
