Fromsoft didn't produce the music they just develop games sony has provide all the music of bloodbornr produce it with their own music studio and release it as a soundtrack of the game. Ask sony since they have their own orchestra too.

@@vwts They have recordings in their other games, but it's mostly choir/vocal work. Instruments are digitally produced in house by Yuka Kitamura and Nobuyoshi Suzuki (among others), and assisted by various freelance musicians

@Matias Flores You'd be surprised. I know plenty of classical musicians who are video game enthusiasts, regardless of their age, and already were 20 or 30 years ago. As well as there are plenty of game enthusiasts who love classical music, including among the young. Keep your mind open and you'll find that such classifications are artificial at best.

The audible difference between Bloodborne’s soundtrack and every other FS OST is insane. They recorded these tracks in an ACTUAL CATHEDRAL with ACTUAL CHOIRS singing ACTUAL LATIN. It makes such a difference. The resonance in these tracks is insane. You can hear the presence of a looming cathedral in every single track, which is appropriate when the majority of the game takes place in gothic cathedrals. They really went the extra mile with this OST in particular and imo nothing has beat it since. It’s just so intentionally immersive in its sound in a way no other OST is.

Imagine the atmosphere in that room.

Initially I had no clue what Bloodborne was. I wasn’t following it and had never been exposed to any of the souls series prior. When I saw this video I was so enthralled by the music that I became so hyped to play the game, simply for the music. Needless to say I bought the game day one and it has become one of my favorite games of all time. It also caused me to check out the other games in the series and the rest is history. I will always have fond memories of beginning bloodborne and having my interest piqued simply because of a short video of such incredible music. Love it!

inspiring. the game itself is also as much a masterpiece as the music. they really go hand in hand. from software are such talented artists

Bloodborne simply has the best music along with best art style, of any game.

One of the reasons Souls games are my favorite games… Music is art!

I can watch this all day, every day, for the rest of my life. One of the best games I have ever played with the best music.

This just isn't complete without the "*REEEEEEEEEEE*" from the Cleric Beast.

DialTheDude maybe the Cleric Beast is there but we don't have the Insight to see it or hear it.

I have to say I love the dark souls series, but Bloodborne is simply on another level. It is truly Miyazaki's master piece, and I am quite saddened for it will never get the full appreciation it deserves simply because it's a ps4 exclusive. I particularly enjoy it for it's story, how it mirrors us humans in our lust for power and knowledge, and the horrors that lurk within man's mind.

Crow I love Bloodborne but Dark Souls 1 is simply the greatest game of all time imo. There is so much more replay value and the world is put together so well that it never gets boring. I think Bloodborne and Dark Souls are definitely both masterpieces though.

Soulsborne veteran here with platinum trophies for Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3, also beat DS1, never summoned anyone to help me against any boss: Bloodborne is *nowhere* near the level of Dark Souls.

Man its amazing seeing this. I remember getting the dark souls 3 soundtrack with the physical copy and it was great but nothing like SEEING the work put into the game

I remember when Bloodborne was still not confirmed and was just a rumor around the community it was dubbed as Project Beast by FromSoftware.

Still in my top 3 souls-borne soundtrack list. I've had this song set as my alarm clock tone for a few years now

Good to see games still utilising real live performances instead of just doing everything on a computer. You can really hear the difference.
