The voice acting in Souls/Borne games are nothing short of phenomenal

As a French-speaker, the French version of the Doll sounds a little bit ominous. Don't know if she has that same effect in other languages? The English one just sounds soothing to me.

Does anyone here know if there is an "original" language for Bloodborne ? Was the project multilingual ? I guess Miyazaki wrote his ideas in Japanese, but was the recording first English, or Japanese ? Was the text first written in Japanese and then translated into other languages, or was it first English so it'd be translated more easily ?

@@rotanux The other From games (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls I,II & III) only has English dubs. The rest is subs, but those were originally Japanese.

I believe japan language first, but miyazaki is a big fan of western fantasy story such game of thrones, and make sure the english translation to be as natural as western fantasy story dialogues. And every dialogues in dark souls are amazed me because they using archaic english.

(German) The sound is good, but the translation is shitty. Even the first sentence is wrong. "You found yourself a Hunter" In German its like "You were looking for a hunter"... Thats how to kill the Lore...
