The challenge of trying to speedrun with a weapon that is essentially the antithesis of the weapon speedrunners typically default to. The problem with the blades of mercy is that they're a low damage per strike, rapid strike weapon. It makes for a poor speedrunning weapon, particularly with the high cost, though speedrunners would find it entertaining for a regular run, since it's a pretty technical weapon, as it has lots of interesting attacks that can chain well due to the comparatively low stamina usage.

BoM is great w arcane cause it scales well with it.

While it scales "S" with Skill and it gets some innate damage from Arcane, its very little. IIRC, if you have 50Skill and 50ARC, and the AR is something like say 560, you're only getting like 60 from ARC and it doesn't get much more than that. Its better to rely on Skill and go for the relevant gems.

It's so cool that people list Dist and Zeus can still run this game and it's still a fan favourite, I have played this game about 10 times now and am better than most who have only played it a few times and can make it through the game with not that many deaths, but I have never been able to optimise like these two have, which is why I love watching these

As for me, I preferred more boss-focused Sekiro world, and didnt finish any of the DS games before it. And I dont really want to get into Elden Ring, because I know for sure that i will be bored and lost in such a big world Sadly, has no ps4, couldnt try BB.
