This was a really good video,the way she explained how to take someone's blood pressure it makes me feel that I can really do it she really explained everything to make it easy to understand what I need to do when taking someone's blood pressure .

why cant I add this video to my viewing list? This is well done. Love to see her do an apical pulse. Our class uses your video #7 Phlebotomy; thats how I found this one.

Very informative. But I was taught when placing the index and middle fingers should be placed on the diaphragm. I don't know. I guess there are different methods.

It was very informative, but she has her thumb on the stethoscope .remember that you thumb should never be on the bell of the stethoscope .

She's listening through the diaphragm portion of the stethoscope. Keeping it placed there helps steady the stethoscope and you're able to hear more clearly the sound. And one of the reasons you're able to hear the beats in the brachial artery (measure bp) is because you create enough pressure to create the turbulent flow which produces the sound. But you wouldn't be able to hear that from your thumb. (this reply is very late but for anyone else who's curious)
