When I finally got the opportunity to go there, someone asked me why do you want to serve some other countries when there is so much poverty, hunger, corruption and illiteracy in your own country. It was then I joined an NGO and taught the poor for free in a slum in New Delhi. I know it's nothing to what Solomon Vandy and his family underwent, yet I tried to fulfill my share of duties

This song is one of the most riveting and haunting movie soundtracks ever conceived. When it comes down to the movie, it was an heartwrenching experience and it allowed me to look at my continent in a deeper extent. Acting wise, this is undoubtfully Leo's greatest performance. He gave to Danny Archer a depth and humanity through his cunning, deceitful and downright evil ways which has yet to be topped. Many will say that The Wolf and Once Upon were his best and yes, they are amongst, but with this movie, Leo really showed a grit and strength that was before that, unbeknownst to him.

Such a beautiful haunting piece of music composed for an equally powerful film. For 13 years i have listened and felt moved to tears

Absolutely spot on . Indeed it is riveting and haunting , its the music which lingers in the subconscious when the movie fades from memory , like Braveheart , like 1492, like the good the bad and the ugly and ofcourse the ultimate one- The last of the Mohicans

I agree the movie makes me want to explore Southern Africa, particularly Mozambique (where the majority of the movie was filmed & South Africa (where the rest of the movie was filmed).

Cara, a foto é literalmente uma cena do filme em que eles sobem uma colina para achar a família do Solomon que está em um campo de refugiados. Aconteceu na filmagem de ele estar atrás. Isso nem sequer é um cartaz do filme 🤦‍♂
