This guy is the reason I started watching UFC. Never had interest for the sport but when I heard this ex rugby league player was killing it in the UFC, I started watching his fights. Two fights later he becomes the Champ and takes out Max!! I've been hooked to UFC since. And yes, Alex is and will always be my favourite fighter! The Great 👑

Much love to volk, he’s a future UFC hall of famer for sure. On the fight and the difference next time they fightI. I think the 24 hour rehydration period in Perth fucked with Islam. He hadn’t experienced that before. And won’t next time they fight, probably in Abu Dhabi! ❤️🇦🇺

Those judges robbed volk of one of the greatest moments in UFC history, #1PFP volk the feather weight going against #2 PFP islam whos a big lightweight prodigy of khabib , everyone thought volk was going to get taken down and smeshed, volk came out and completly nuetralized the grappling, he got taken down but islam did nothing but hold on, and outstruck islam, then drops islam in the last round and gives fans the crazy moment Australian crowd going wild thinking volk is about to be double champ , then the judges (UFC) rob MMA fans of one of the greatest moments in the UFC , the MMA gods shed a tear that day.

It was a close fight but it’s not a robbery cuz Islam matched Volks standup and he had more takedowns and control time. Even Volk himself said it was not a robbery.

Volk didn't do enough low kicks in the islam fight, the kicks that he did gave Islam trouble
