    I’ve worked in a steakhouse and cleaned deep fryer grease and dump it into 55 gallon drums and it’s a very bad smell to the point of you want to vomit.

    After watching these videos. I clean out the cooking pan while it’s still hot, with a paper towel, I get everything I can out the pan before washing.

    Use a dish detergent like Dawn too. Breaks the grease down even more. Learned that from being a dishwasher at a restaurant and having to take apart the disposal and fix it because nobody else knew how too.

    My dad who is a retired plumber, said the best place for grease is in the green waste, but use a paper towel in the bench top green waste bin to help absorb and contain it

    @@apb3251 My thoughts exactly. Some people will get under there see/smell all the water and grease that came out and say "this is going to stink up my house for days!" I want a discount for that inconvenience. "Well ma'am it wouldn't be like this if you followed the rules and didn't pour grease down the drain. So this is your mess."

    I don't get grease being dumped into the drain. Seems to be a common thing in Australia. I either dump it into a container and dispose of when full or wait until it cools solid and scrape into the garbage. I can't even imagine how bad that smells. Working under the house with spiders to boot. My skin is crawling! I love that your son is now Mouse Man. He's earned it! And the owner kept saying she was really lucky to get you. Yes she was! And if she's smart, she'll keep your information handy as her go-to man for any pipe issues. And she definitely wanted to be Mouse Owner! Climbed under without a qualm in what looked like good clothes. Wanted to see close up. Top client!🎉🎉

    This is exactly why I pour any and all grease into a tin can, freeze it, and throw it away once the can is full. Grease is not made to go down pipes.

    When I was 13/14 my uncle who was a plumber woud take me to the jobs, I was impressed by him and his knowledge, I never imagined how valuable the couple of years of helping him has proven to be.     I learned my lesson while living away for college to never put grease down any drain. It was embarrassing for plumber to show us how much grease had solidified and stuck below the sink. Now that I own home. I put that grease in a separate jar.

    I don't understand why people put their grease down the kitchen drain. My Mum always put grease in an empty tin, then put the grease out for the birds in winter. Now that I cook, I soak up my grease in a wad of paper towel which goes into the garbage, results, no "blocked drain" announcements. Oh, and Ollie, Tim Tams here (Canada) are now $4CDN per pack, outrageous!

    It amazes me how home owners cut corners on sewage and electrical. The repair to that should have had a rubber adapter to seal the two different size pipes. Bruno partially cleared the "Blocked Drain" at full blast 🤣😂🤣. Life is experience and in those experiences we have valuable lessons. No way to properly learn how to fix sumtin with an occasional error. No one person grasp the task presented to them on the first go. That's where the teacher teaches the student has great meaning in our lives. If sumone whi has experience with a tigers explains do not go near them they are not kitty cats to be pet and cuddled
