Blippoo for Wingie is an alternative firmware for Wingie2. The new firmware is inspired by Blippoo Box, a genius instrument created by Rob Hordijk (1958-2022), who contributed a lot to synthesizer design. May his spirit lives on in his instrument designs, thoughts, and influences.

The new firmware could turn your Wingie2 into a self-contained instrument capable of producing a variety of sounds and patterns. As a great companion, it will help you in your music-making practice especially when you want to applicate controlled chaos to your music.

what a gift!!!! meng qi you are a genius
this is so rad! You have been pushing the boundaries for a long time thank you so much. Way back when you made me a custom Ciat lonbarde expander with dual gate/pitch ribbons it was such a fun device. These days I'm doing video synthesis. If you ever want some video effects for any project let me know and I would be happy to do it!

@@MengQiMusic it’s not going to replace my wingpinger yet, but wow, so great. Love that if you are playing on speakers you can blend in the microphone to add some feedback. Maybe one day I will have a ‘real’ blippoo box, but this will definitely be well loved!!

This firmware doesn't work on the bare-board Wingie 1.
