Nine was a freaking masterpiece, I said it. It’s a bit annoying seeing everyone blinded by nostalgia. We already had a blink reunion in 2010… that was all we needed. Right when they finally figured things out with Matt, they ditch him. Strip all nostalgia and personalities away, Nine is light years ahead of this. Tom lost his magic long ago.. and as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized mark songs have always been better. Weird how our opinions change with time. Tom hit his absolute peak with AVAs first record. After that, it has been downhill.

More Than You Know, Terrified, Blink Wave and Bad News are great. I disagree with you about Turpentine. That song is rad! I'm not underwelmed by the album, I'm super grateful for it actually. If only the production was better...

It feels so odd being 27 and only getting into bands like Sum 41 and blink-182 now. I really like Sum 41 for being pop punk Metallica, it’s two different sounds I’ve always wanted to hear blended together, but never stumbled across until now. My mind would’ve been blown had I heard this at age 15, I would’ve loved it and appreciated it even more. My gateway bands to heavier music were Disturbed, Linkin Park, and Breaking Benjamin.

Anthem Part 3: 10/10 Dance With me: 9/10 Fell In Love: 5/10 Terrified: 6/10 One More Time: 7.5/10 More Than You Know: 8/10 Turn This Off!: 9/10 When We Were Young: 5/10 Edging: 5/10 You Dont Know What You've Got: 8/10 Blink Wave: 10/10(favorite song) Bad News: 9/10 Hurt Interlude: 3/10 Turpentine: 7/10 Other Side: 10/10(also tied as my favorite) Childhood: 7/10 Overall delivered on what i wanted as a Blink fan. Sounds like what would of been the next album after Neighborhoods if Tom hadn't of left. Biggest criticism is the drums are loud af.

Great video, as always. Although I’m about 10 years older than you, blink-182 (and the Ramones and Metallica) were my biggest gateway bands into me becoming a diehard punk rock and metal fan. I don’t like talking shit about bands/music online, because we don’t need more negativity, but I will say I don’t jive with the new record much. There’s just so much other great stuff being put out, that I just have no interest in this one at all. I’m glad those who do dig it, dig it, though. I haven’t watched your Father of All Motherfuckers video, but in terms of how I feel about that LP… I fucking love it. I honestly think it’s the best thing they’ve done since 21st Century Breakdown, and miles above Revolution Radio (which is my personal least favourite of theirs).

As I said in the discord server (with a pretty original name), the album was fine for me. Quite better than ant Skiiba album or Chesire Cat, but it's not that difficult make something better than those albums. I was expecting a real clusterfuck due to the pretty mediocre singles (or at least most of them), but overall I think it's decent. Songs like Anthem Part 3, Blink Wave, More Than You Know, Bad News or even Other Side and Dance With Me were nice songs that proved that Blink stills having charm and creativity, but Travis production kills every nice moment you could find here, even in the worse tracks like Edging, One More Time, You Don't Know What You Got or Fell In Love. The short songs are fine, I guess, but I also feel like many songs here ends abruptly or their endings are quite boring or lazy, and though I love that Mark, Tom and Travis are friends again, I can see that this album was made more for those Blink fans that want them to make immature songs and jokes about sex and shit, instead of something more mature like the self titled or especially Neighbourhoods, which was overhated because of that and the band kinda ignores it most of the time. I think if they do another full mature album, with some creativity there and a better producer (idk, freaking Rob Cavallo), they would make something really good, but instead we a have 50 year old Tom Delonge singing about Edging :P

People talking down on AVA and Boxcar Racer, And hating Neighborhoods as an album, When that’s actually some of toms BEST work. You listen to blink for toms singing, and travis’ drumming. NOBODY listens to blink for mark… +44 (well, that 1 single they had thats the one song anybody can name) was ok, but we all only stuck around for that stunt because travis was there for it. Thats the crossover. Boxcar Racer is blink without Mark. If you can do boxcar racer, you can do AVA. If you can do neighborhoods, you can do AVA. If you can live without travis’ drumming, you can do AVA. We all gotta grow out of that 7th grade crush lyrics type of “punk” eventually. And when you do, boxcar racer, neighbourhoods, and AVA will be waiting, kids.

I disagree with most things that you said about the One more Time Album. Yeah the production leaves a lot to be desired but Anthem Part 3, Terrified,One more Time, Turpentine, and to a lesser extent When you were young are all great. But hey, you can´t please everyone I guess.

Oh nope, you lost me at saying Nine sucks. California sucks, but Nine kicks so much ass it’s not even funny. This is coming from a blink purist. Don’t let the fact that it isn’t Tom distract from its fantastic song writing and polish.

The overplaying of Edging made me hate the album before i even knew about the album or if there would be an album with it on it. I completely skipped this one, based on how unimpressed and fatigued i am of hearing such a boring modern pop punk song. I checked right tf out. Don’t care to hear the rest of the album. Maybe on the next album cycle, the lead single wont be garbage, and overplayed garbage at that….
