I grew up listening to these guys way back when Scott raynor was playing drums. when travis left the aquabats to play with blink the freaking universe shifted lol. its so funny how the new generation of kids today listen to blink as if they're some sort of new group, while people my age listen to these guy and reminisce on growing up in the 90's and early 2000's . I even remember when they used to play at the corona showcase for free. crazy how time flys.

Louis Anthony you see this is why i hate that i was born in the 2000s. I missed all my favourite bands and so many concerts! Nobody i know has a similar music taste, they all like Taylor swift or shit like that y'know? Idk man, i feel like the world's getting too overprotective and kids can't have freedom to go to concerts like that anymore.

We have been begging for chemistry the last 5 maybe 6 years since Tom comeback in 2009, and I don't know about you guys but in the last concerts they have made there is a lot of fun. Can we just leave Tom topic, he is different now, he wanted to try different things, he wanted to be just him, he is not going to comeback if we put a hash tag like #BringBackTom, #WeMissYouTom,or #Blink182SucksWithoutTom, we have to enjoy them as much as we can. i dont think Tom just refused to be with the guys. It is just that he was so busy and in contracts with all his projects with To The Stars he couldnt find time to commit to Blink 182 at the time.

Honestly, if you don't like Blink anymore because one guy left, don't call yourself a Blink-182 fan. We all love Tom. But it was his decision to leave, and there was nothing that Mark or Travis could do about it. They there forced to decide to continue on or to break up, and they decided to keep going with a new member. And frankly, I think Matt has been an incredible replacement. A band is a collaborative effort, the success of Blink was a result of all 3 members, not just Tom. We still have Mark and Travis, be grateful for that at least.

Jesus Christ FINALLY someone gets it. Tom said he still wanted to do Blink but he was so preoccupied with other projects he didn't have the time. We'd have had to wait far longer for new Blink had Tom stayed. Mark and Travis wanted to make music again and they did the necessary thing. I doubt it was easy.

I think thats what a lot of us Blink fans would want. Put Blink on the shelf, let them write and play under. +44 or something. Tom created Blink. Its not the same without him.

First Skiba/Trio FKN amazing and from a huge Skiba fan I do admit it sounds weird without Tom but they arent the same band/people so we can't expect the exact same shit. Also Mark and Travis dont want Tom back so enough. There is a reason hes not sitting here and Skiba is. Just Chill. True fans love no matter changes.

I really like Matt and Alkaline Trio but he seems so out of place in Blink. Alkaline has always had some real serious songs and Blink was joke punk for a long time so I find it strange that when the opportunity rose to find a new vocalist/guitarist they didn't get someone younger who has the same humor as Mark and Tom. You'd think they wouldn't want to be so serious like the last 2 albums were with Tom but I guess that's just where they ended up with getting older. Mark still has a great sense of humor off the records though. Maybe Matt will relax and the next album will be better.

Alkaline Trio used to tour with Blink, they've been friends for years, and Mark said there was no one else they would have wanted but Matt, and I know they want to stay true to Blink, which is another issue they had with Tom (Travis was quoted as saying he wanted to make U2-like music). And the new album with Matt does sound like Blink, so I'm not as worried about that serious thing myself. Fair concern though, everyone is entitled to feel how they want. :P

Can't agree, dude. Just not feeling the songs. The musicianship and vocals are there but I just cannot get into it. They haven't lost my attention yet. Green Day on the other hand just caught my attention like flies to shit with these new singles they have out lol

Tom, Mark and Travis are my favorites, I don't know much about Scott since I didn't listen to them back when he was around and I was never a big fan of Alkaline Trio. I wish Tom came back to Blink that band was just 3 friends having fun, they could do whatever the hell they wanted on stage and get away with it. With Matt they just play the songs. I already watched the documentary and that is why I think he won't come back to Blink, he said something about moving on from that style of music, I can't really remember. I still don't understand why he released a "new" album that sounds just like box car racer though. I actually like their new album quite a lot, that might be because I'm trying to like everything that is even related to pop punk, since I really want it to make a big comeback. Also, if you already didn't, check out a song called "Hey I'm sorry" from the Japanese version of this album, it's the best one imo and it isn't in the official album.
