Texas is much more tropical than Alabama , yet they get much more snow. While Alabama gets the heavy wind and cold temperatures. I want to move to Texas.

Umm, that's not a blizzard, just your average everyday snow shower. We had a few big blizzards in Ohio as i was growing up, one of which the snow drifts were up to the tops of the telephone poles.

The issue is we don’t see snow in Texas, in my area we had the storm, but it wasn’t a blizzard, just a little mini hurricane (mini bc it my area it only lasted for like 45 minutes tops)

The panhandle of Texas outside of Amarillo city limits is pretty isolated very few towns and communities so you travel 50 miles to even 100 mile miles out there and there is nothing. Even some communities that are sign sufficiently that don’t even have a gas station or nothing actually that’s Channing, TX one very tiny county seat then you throw what could be a blizzard for Texas standards yes you could get stuck and help may take hours to get to you if you have a cell phone signal and being the high plains it’s extremely flat so it’s nothing for the winds to blow on a normal day out there. If you don’t know there used to be the biggest ranches in the country 100 years ago along the New Mexico border that is bigger than some smaller states and it’s still very empty out there.
