Ah, my favorite episode. Possibly not just out of MLP, but also any show, generally. Albeit, I don't watch much 'professional', TV type programs, but still. For one, it spawned one of my favorite songs in MLP, alongside that moment of pure evil with Cozy Glow. Seriously, that nearly erased my problems with her not having a past, that "Crush our enemies to dust, and laugh as they all scream!" line. Second, it portrayed the /villians/ in an immensely more relatable and... Rather un-villainous light. Cozy Glow, truly believing that her more sweet persona is her true self, makes me believe she has some very strong issues with personal identity. Tirek, caring about his grandmother? Apparently there's room in that blood-red heart of his for more than just himself. And /Chrysalis/. Probably one of the- if not the- most adorable villains. Cozy isn't adorable, not only because she's evil incarnate, but also because she strikes me as more sweet than adorable. Anyway, Chrysalis has a caring side- shown before softly, but here rather obviously- for her hive. She isn't evil, she just has misguided ideas. She has a true capacity for love in her own heart, and not just in her stomach.
You have probably already figured this out since this is a re-upload. I believe Tirek talks to his grandmother in his sleep.
