Which.. means that in the original, they just took maps and made the trip that way. This version has phones and such, but for some reason they didn’t change this part. Sure, he's salty about his fingers, but more than anything I think Arthur hates Ash because he was replaced by him. Arthur's no longer the strongest and most capable person in his circles, and as added insult to injury, their looks are similar too. Both Arthur and ash have blonder hair and green eyes. Arthur used to be the pretty boy in charge, until someone else like him stepped in and did his job better. That's also why he keeps telling Dino that he's got something that Ash doesn't, and that unlike Ash he does what he's told. He's trying to gain papa's favour and to prove he's better than Ash.

I’m so happy you’re watching this, and I don’t want to be ‘that person’ since it is a pretty faithful beat-for-beat adaptation, but I would LOVE for you to read the manga (if you can find an affordable way to) for comparison and make a video on witch you prefer!! I’m gonna keep this brief but here’s a simple version of why the manga (as usual) is a bit better- -it’s set in, and written in the 80s, it had a very 80s action die hard-y vibe -the anime cuts down the dialog, and removes a lot of the nuance in conversation ESPECIALLY EIJI. He’s super sassy and back talks ash a lot more in the manga, with much more autonomy and personality seperate from ash than the show give him credit for.I feel that the show stripped his charcter of a lot of his depth and simplified him to “self doubting soft boi” on top of taking away most of his impactful lines (and curses!! He says f*ck twice by the end of the FIRST BOOK and the some how cut that while overexaderating ash’s foul mouth) -eiji has a really heavy Japanese accent (since the book is translated to English) and speaks shit English -you can actually tell when Ibe and eiji are speaking Japanese vs English -just trust me bro please I’m begging you -just trust me bro it’s worth it

Great! I agree about the racist portrayals, but I gotta say that for a seiries written in Japan, in the 80s, in a manga, it surprising that there are even any characters that aren’t white or Japanese, much less multiple black characters with differnt personalitys other than ‘black best friend’ so at least the author tried I guess lol. It not perfect, but what is :)

Gintama is not part of the rotation. It's supposed to be on Fridays. While Persona is supposed to be Saturdays. Spider-Man is part of the rotation, which does not fall on a specific day. But it's supposed to be after Banana Fish.
