To me, the EDP version is way too reserved and pretty, and the projection and performance are way superior with the EDT. I first got the EDT and exchanged with the EDP, only to go back to the EDT. A fragrance needs to project and perform, and the EDP doesn't do enough of it. I can understand it's the more polished version, but I think it's for older folks that appreciate understatement. The EDT is a much more versatile version for most people.

To me the EDP is one of the best fragrances released by Chanel however honestly Mr Joy I had to spray a high (but not too high of) amount on because of it being an older batch code! But other than that I have / had ZERO complaints! I got 10 hours of it but I can still smell traces of it on my Skin! Be blessed and safe Mr Joy

I have them all. EDT is my favourite.

EDP can be worn in summer no problem! Very versatile. You should have waited for Parfum to tell people it's not as versatile or can't be worn in summer. Summer all day!

Your right the edt is more versatile the edp is for a man that's secure and knows who he is and isn't moody unlike me 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

I would maybe go for the edp.

It's funny listening to this as how he explains the EDP is how I see the Parfum version. I hate the parfum version! It's too heavy and chill to me, the EDP is light and tropical in comparison very bright beautiful and uplifting.

I prefer Blue de Chanel Edt to Edp The opening is not for me, bit the drydown is great

I prefer the EDT actually. It has that fresh-cut grass by a pool feel to it. EDP is still great though, especially for dates or formal occasions.

Hi.The edp is good for the winter?

I bought 15 best cologne samples online to try it on myself like Versace Dylan Blue, ADG,YSL L'HOMME, Sauvage, CH prive,D&C the one,Aventus,Mont Blanc indvl,Invictus,Blvgari Aqua & Bleu de chanel edp and after trying all of them me & my wife loves Chanel the most so end up buying a 150ml bottle.

Great review. Still prefer the EDT however. I get absolute beast performance. The EDP has a floral edge that just isn't my cup if tea.

What up my Bro!!! I really like Blue de Chanel edt Don't own a bottle yet but hopefully one day iA. The Parfum is nice took. I'll take both over Sauvage ✌🏻

I've never smelled this one before and the local fragrance store I buy from always has BdC out of stock. Have you ever tried Belcam's Electric Blue? I picked up a bottle to get a general idea of how it would smell.

EDP for me. Longevity is there, balance between sharpness and smoothness of Parfum but you still also get the sillage. I own both EDT and EDP. I sprayed EDT on my arm and after like an hour, it became a skin scent. EDP stayed strong and kept clinging. Outdoors, the EDT disappears on me after like 3-4 hours whilst the EDP stays esp on my shirt

sauvage is great imo for casual more and all year round good scent for most people out there.it picks up complement.but for peronal enjoyment i love bleu de chanel way better :)

Yea I think Bleu De Chanel is better than Sauvage, but i do like Sauvage more for function(getting compliments) than anything else. It's also my grab and go/gym fragrance. Bleu EDP has a more special place for me. I just love to smell it, it's just one of those scents that make me happy. IMO Sauvage is not trash Bleu is just better.

i got this last year this time.. told father when u went to Hajj to bring Blue De Chanel EDP for me nd Chanel Chance Eu Tendre for my sister... Blue de chanel is a topnotch as flavor..great..but dont know if Chanel or other luxury brands are becoming cheap commercial.... becs flavor is too good but Silage nd Longevity is problem..Silage is more problematic.. same for female's Chanel Chance Tendre which actually a mild perfume nd too fresh flowery flavor but silage nd longevity is problem.. can u suggest any topnotch flavor of perfume for female below 30 yr...

Blue de Dua. A better performer as some people say.

I love them both but man I get really poor performance on the EDT. Barely a few hours, the EDP performs a lot better on me. Plus I feel it has a more fruity smell? Maybe that's just me but I like it :D I agree with the versatility difference though. But at the same time when I'm looking for causal scents the last thing I'm thinking is BDC. When I think of BDC I think upper class, I think hand me my suit and SHOW ME THE MONEY! :P So I'm perfectly fine for the more up class side of the EDP, I don't want to use BDC for casual imo

Exactly I dont get how people say the edt projects better I dont see it at all I sprayed it and couldnt smell it one minute later

I love BdC EDP. If i had to choose one fragrance for the rest of my life it would be either this or ADG Profumo. The only thing is that I bought a 200ml EDP for my best friend as chrostmas gift since i knew he wanted it for so long (yeah its expensive) I have to wait till he is completely out to buy myself one so we dont smell the same in the club around girls. lololol

Love bleu de chanel EDT/EDP but it's not a summer frag, the incense in those give me headache. Nice fall, winter and spring frag ....Btw have you the Givenchy Blue label? I'ts a spicy orange scent :)

What a ripoff. Why don’t the bastards just make one fragrance that lasts a long time and project well also? These frigging companies playing around with us. Fuck them!!!! Glad I didn’t spend my money on this expensive Chanel shit

although I don't own sauvage, I'd say that BdC is if I want to smell good for myself and sauvage is if I want to smell good for others. when I smell sauvage on other people they smell great, but there's a reason why I bought BdC first :)
