Thank you very much for posting this code I just got cheated out of my money for some fake blue de Chanel I got my money back I knew it was something wrong when I sprayed it and it wouldn’t last then later on it would smell like cat urine without this video I wouldn’t have even attempted to contact eBay and put in a request for a refund thanks again man I really appreciate it.

Much more detailed than other comparisons I've watched, one question I have is the Location of the batch code on the box...some are in the middle, some one the left and some on the right side. This still throws me off

its a bit long winded. the thing is... the fakes arent consistent.. even with packaging. sometimes the real box can change as well with small details. i know.. its frustrating.

I just ordered two things of the ebay of all places ( wish I had seen this video) one was an Blue in Parfum which has yet to arrive & an Acqua di GIo for my nephew which has arrived & I'm now wondering if either are real. I've gone online to see if the Gio was legit but I'm still uncertain.

Cause my bottle(150ml) is 100% original, but sprayer looks like on the fake one on your video...Is there is a option that i have fake juice and original bottle? Even the bach code(4801) is also valid on every site. Ps. I bought from the same seller Dior Sauvage EDP 100ml and that bottle have normal ''original'' sprayer. Now im rly confused... Thanks in advance!

@@zzkidsam thats too kind. yes try it in the store.. bring it with you to a mall where they sell that in several places. im sure yours is fine. you can also find fragrance fanatics like yourself in facebook fragrance groups. post a pic there many helpful folks.

I don't think it's fake, usually the box in fake ones looks worse than that, that one is very detailed.

it definitely was. the seller ran of scared after i brought it up. and it smelled like cat pee. not reformulated.. just cat pee. they will go to great lengths even a magnetic cap to fool us.

I recently bought one the batch code on the bottle didn’t match the batch code on the box is it fake ?

I got a real bottle which has the straight atomizer as fake bottle you show off when the cap of atomizer comes off. However, the color of the atomizer is the real one.

I think it should be ok. if from a facebook group, you can always ask for a reference check from everyone in the group.

@@jimmycphoto hello, thank you for the reply even though it's late!! Bought 2 BDC bottles since then... they're both Authentic. And since I have owned two now, out of 6 since 2014. I can now tell which is which 😁 Owning a bottle and watching your vids definitely helped, my girlfriend loves this scent as much as I do. Ill never get tired of smelling it!!

@@jimmycphoto so far I have tried the EDT only... I think I have tried the EDP before (way back 2016) I'll say it's better than the Parfum since it's way cheaper as well. And the Parfum is having performance issues while the difference between the EDT and EDP afaik is the drydown only and a little bit on performance, making the EDP softer than the EDT. hence I have stuck with the EDT ever since 😄 since it projects a bit better

Fascinating...I once encountered a similar situation when I bought EDT from Chinatown, it smelled like piss water which was to me a definite giveaway. Question, how do I inspect the bottle before purchasing if it's wrapped? Can I demand a refund even if I use 2/3 of the bottle already? Will you return for me? please advise and provide prepaid shipping. thanks

Are you sure it's fake? perhaps one is made in France, the other in the United States. may have differences in the raw material. what do you think?

Gustavo Adolfo i really wish it was real. the seller was also shocked, but.. not really. the smell is waaaay off. like, just terrible im not being a snob. it smells like rancid poison. the bottle is really terrible. it took me a while to come to grips that it was a fake, even though it was pretty obvious. thank you for your comment and watching!

For me both are original ... Maybe, in the first uses the smell is weak.... then it gets stronger, after a short time, maybe the oxygen contact. This is normal. Maybe Chanel updated some details, as the internal paper and the spray... But for me, both are originals... and always, the older fragrances are better than the brand New, i dont know why, maybe they are more mature, or something like that. Mine is bath code 1401, produced in 2016, is the same as yours, and i think it is original.... I hope!!! Hahahaha

JC Photography yes the bigger one is fake, the Chanel logo is not correct n no Chanel bottle has those kind of finishing for sure, it's obvious. I am into frags for 5 yrs now n i can assure u that!

hm, what retailer? online retailer? could you say the name? if it doesnt smell bad, i would say it is real. you can also see of you can find a sample and compare the smells.

I’m really angry that I got scammed when I received my bottle today from eBay. I had to take out my glasses to really look at this product. The only thing that truly reveals the snake oil is the batch code! ... then there is the juice. Not Chanel! What do I do gentlemen?

Always pay with PayPal!! Then you’re 100% protected. If not the Seller doesn’t have to give you your chips back. You are SOL, Shit out of Luck. Ask them before if they have PayPal, what’s the Batchnummer, and is it real in your email, before you buy it. If it’s a Fake then you tell them, and give them a chance to send you the money. But you don’t have to send it back, because it’s plagiarism and you could notify Chanel and they’d have to pay a fine. So give them a few days, I believe it’s 7-10 days to get your money on your PayPal account, and if it’s not there then you can call eBay or open a Fall and in a matter of hours the money is there. Educate yourself before you become a VICTIM!! A Thief never sleeps, because he’s always thinking of ways to get in your pockets.

my bleu is identical to the original, the only difference is when i take the spray off, the tube is thin as your left, excluding this detail, it's all identical to the one on the right. But mine it's made in France, will it be fake?

Gustavo Adolfo i dont think so then. i highly recommend bringing it to a store, most stores carry it. make sure your hands are clean and dry. spray the one you have and spray the tester on separate hands. dont rub. keep smelling not just the beginning but mainly the drydown. it will be VERY obvious if its real. trust your nose. where did you get it if you dont mind me asking?

Gustavo Adolfo not a problem. i bought mine from the internet too. i recommend notink or fragrancex fragrancenet, beauty encounter, something like that, all legit. ebay, check feedback. if its fake you can contest it, and they will always refund you. more of a hassle though.

@@jimmycphoto finally I smelled it... I tried it twice...Its smell irritates my chest strongly, but the same smell like the authentic one I owned before... and it projects well in the first hour then weak projection in the second hour then became skin scent up to 6 hours

Could it be an old batch, like super old, maybe it was stored badly so the fragrance expired or something?

thats a possibility. but even badly stored fragrances dont smell like this in my opinion. it didnt smell remotely like bdc or any half decent fragrance. the bottle and packaging was laughable as well. people are buying stuff like this and saying it smells bad, thinking its the real thing. this was legit cat urine.

The batch code font and font style on the bottom of the big bottle is wrong plus the cap is too long and sits way too low - there is not as much of the metal underneath showing as there is on an authentic bottle
