My major prayer to Jesus is: that if and when I see his glorious countenance , I will be able to utter the words of Spafford's hymn: "It is well ; It is well It is well with my soul."

I took refuge and found comfort in the Spafford’s story and subsequent hymn when I received the news of my son’s death. It was 10 years ago, and it remains Well with my soul. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

This ministry, through Mr. Kent and it's Godl, and thoughtful content, has changed my life, as I am in the process of giving my life over to Jesus. This is one of the best messages I've been blessed by. May the Father bless you continually and richly. Much love from Dallas.

Spafford’s only son Horatio was born AFTER the shipwreck. He died 4 years later. He was their 5th child. They had 2 more daughters. And adopted a second son….who has his own fascinating story.

Son Horatio (born Nov 16, 1876) wasn’t born until after tragic sinking.

Horatio loss is kinda like Jobs loss.
