Finally made in to a GTN video (even in the background) great event so good to have spectators back to Blenheim. The difference to the previous year was night and day. The weather was amazing and already booked for next year!
Of course you were the top female competitor and 4th overall off little to no training. You are a total legend! Awesome job Heather! Pressure was off after the GTN boys and their marathon challenge proved super hard (obviously). Weekend warrior looks like a fabulous challenge. I’m not sure I would manage the first day though! Putting on a wet, wetsuit?! Eeeek! That’s an event of its own. Might need a video of that as a challenge...
That's really cool. Well done on fitting in this many tri's during the weekend. Never knew about multi-event multi-sport triathlons before!! Usually one is good enough for me! 🤣 Fantastic bragging rights at the Monday morning water cooler with how many triathlons you completed over the weekend! 💪

Amazing! I saw people doing this at the London Triathlon and felt very lucky to just be doing the Olympic distance! It's like a very long version of Super League, a very impressive achievement!

Really well done Heather, you did amazing. Apart from the endurance part just the logistics of doing so many back to back is bonkers😮. Did you have multiple sets of kit then have to wash everything in a hotel sink overnight?
Yeah, training is obviously 100% overplayed :) Congrats on 4th overall and congrats on 1st woman. The only metal I would get was the first death, but it was cool to watch you run and smile and do it. Well done.
