This is by far the best tutorial I’ve viewed on chalk paint blending. I’ve worked extensively doing faux finishes and trompe l’oeil but that was before the chalk paint revolution so I needed to understand the medium. Keeping your brushes clean, yet dry, is a struggle. But I found a great way to clean them; and your bristles will, quite literally, be squeaky clean. Mist the bristles, just enough to reactivate the paint, and rub the bristles into the palm of your other hand, and message them to work that water in. Then wipe with a dry cloth. Repeat until all of the paint is removed. Think of the paint as your brush soap. And bonus, it won't take nearly as long for your brush to dry. 😊

Absolutely gorgeous! You made this teachable, I have watched several blending tutorials that made it seem daunting and only for the highly skilled. What really helped for me is that I have those colors and brand. I think my brushes may be inadequate for the technique so I am running down town to buy a few like yours, A competitor brand but I don't want to wait for shipping. Thanks for giving us your simplified instructions, you got a subscription for sure.

She is very special she came to us at Christmas after losing her owner from Covid she is 10 years old we thought she was a baby but I have to say she settled in with us really well x

I really like Italian oval Natural Bristlebrush rather than a synthetic I just find it a lot easier x
