An excellent explanation of the topic. If you continue to explain the secrets of BlenderBIM I would kindly ask you to look into workflow of generating quantity estimates and building element lists for cost estimates parallelly with defining building object types. This would help a lot of people 🙂

Thanks very much for the video!! What you think if we could model a house from a 2D PDF ??? I mean a serie of videos. Create the IFC, import the drawings as SVG or DXF, set the levels, model walls… etc… I have been watching a lot of Blender tutorials and it’s been exciting when we put our hands on a project. We learn a lot.

I think if you want to stretch along the local X axis you can hit X button twice.
