tip: In the start of the vid you can just left click go down to parent and click on clear parent keep transform to avoid the annoying scaling situation.

A very easy solution for the blender crashing when importing large files is to export the file to mecabrick and then export it to blender using the free add on, some parts may be lost tho. Very useful tutorial thank you!

hola! My studio collada export isnt importing into blender! I tried two different collada exports from studio. Same issue.
