For some reason my bool tool isnt working. I have both difference and exact selected. It ends up deleting my cylinders without cutting the holes in the "circle". Love the tutorial and thanks so much for posting these quick modeling tutorials they're great for refreshing and great to just watch too!

@@MoonisHavn i had a same problem i solved it by correcting normals , shift + N
when i convert the mesh to curve it is not smooth anymore any one have an answer ?
So... what if my cable turned out to be way too short and scaling it just makes it look to chonky? Do I have to redo it or is there a way to elongate it somehow?

The spiral needs to be rebuilt

When I press Ctrl + Numpad "-" the outer ring from the wheel also disappears. Cylinder is orange red selected and the circle orange. Did i do something wrong?

Check normals on your objects and recalculate them
