Alex, I teach an animation class for HS students and I have your channel as a resource for students. I have to say your explanation of concepts is perfectly on point, I really like how you go through the workflow and explain why you are making the choices you are doing (we also use the sprite fright rigs for our practice, so this is perfect for them) . Please know that you are making a difference in inspiring young students, we hope you continue to make videos as these are some of the best youtube blender explainer videos IMO. Thanks again!

Can you give how much time/day took for facial animation. With facial mocap can we make it in 1 day
@alexonstory
9 ай бұрын
I find facial animation can be done pretty quick. When your new it'll take longer but that's normal. In this facial tutorial I spent about 15 minutes on the eyes. About 30 minutes on the mouth. The mouth for sure could have used another pass which might have taken another hour to clean/add mouth shapes.
can you make tutorial 0 to 100 level animation like how stand up from chair to body movements please!

in character animation..viewport and rendered video isnt same speed....when i review the animation on viewport the speed is going perfect..but when it gets rendered..all the things gets faster automatically....any idea?...why is this happenning
@alexonstory
10 ай бұрын
Great question! Most likely what is happening is your getting a slower frame rate in your scene. 2 things to check to make sure your getting consistent results. First, make sure your scene is set to 24 frps. In your Output properties under Format you should see your Frame Rate say 24fps. Output properties looks like the printer icon on the right side. Next, turn Text Info on in the Viewport Overlays options. You find that in the top right corner of your big viewport window. It's the two circle icons with the one circle that is solid and the other that is outlined. When playing your animation you will see the fps of your scene displayed on the left upper corner of your viewport window. You want that number to be as close to 24 fps. If your playback is slow try animating in solid mode and not textured mode. Hope that helps!

Hello I want to ask something. I'm doing a 90 degree right turn and walk on my character on same rotation of my rig which is after 90 degree turn but I'm not able to work on walk after that because mirroring is still working on x axis not on local axis. I didn't rotate the character from root bone while doing the turn

So you can turn on/off control layers when selecting the rig. Under Data Properties - Bone Collections you will see all the different layers. Turn some things on and see what happens. When you find the right layer you can at least name it so you can find it again quickly. I am sure there should be an addon that can make working with these layers more easy. Hope that helped!
