don't forget to do the shift + n whenever there's a shading anomaly. always check where the face normal goes, towards or against the light.

Thank you for giving your knowledge for free.. your tutorials are making my workflow better day by day
Thank you again! The second video took me just about 1/3rd of the time to follow! You are awesome
Man, thank you so much for these videos, everything is so easy to understand you are very good teacher. I'm just started 3d modeling because I want to modify my car and because of you and can make a reference for me to make all modifying clear and smooth. Thx you so much again)
I am watchng this playlist on july 16 2024 and want to watch other tutorials like this on this channel.♥
Thanks for the tutorials. Really appreciate them.
for anyone following, dont be afraid to switch to sculpt mode and use the smoothing tool here-and-there when you can't figure out the shape properly, just adjust the brush's strength. - the relax command could also help
thank you very much for this tutorial! greetings from czechia :D
keep going, tutorial is cool
You are just awesome brother.. So far i watched only 1st part and this one.. And i want to say this i could understand everything you were explaining. Liked, Subscribed and i will watch all the videos soon.. Thank You so much❤️. Keep Going.

Thanks for the tutorial
at 10:25 when you started to have minor issues with the alignment , i imagine it's because of how you lines up the blueprint images . in the very beginning , what i did was light the blueprint up with the cube which i intentionally excluded the tires from , and my mesh lined up perfectly on all views .
Amazing! Thanks from Brazil

Thank you soo much too for the support ❤️❤️❤️
34:30 It took me too long to realise I had to look at this from afar in order to fix the shading on that sharp edge corner. The reason it doesn't line up isn't because the curve is too strong (although it could be a factor), but because the edge flow isn't correct. If you look at the flow, it should go from the bottom of the hood, along the right side, across the top and it should flow into the mirrored side on the left without breaking up. If you can't work out how to achieve this, then there are plenty of topology guides online that will help you. It's a simple fix, but one needs to understand the logic behind edge flow in order to achieve it
Waiting for the next one!

You r awesome bro
The topology is incorrect. Topology must follow around curved edges, otherwise you'll experience shading issues. Also use Creases (Default: CTRL + E + Mouse-pull) instead of compact topology (edge loops) - Makes it easier to readjust and clean up errors. Just do a continuous mesh instead of modelling each part separately. You can always separate parts of the mesh afterwards.
Great technique!

Thare is sum kind of cutting happing so I don't know exactly what is the name of the problem it's occare after solidify modifier so I need your help to fix that one so please respond where can I get your help I have an image of that problem
How do I turn a straight line into a curved one? Like this 20:26
Great tutorial dude. Quick question, what's the best approach in order to avoid shading issues?

The shrinkwrap method is best for that. Lets say you want to cut a hole for a vent, dupe the original piece and increase the subdiv to at least 2 times that amount. Now shrinkwrap the original piece unto the duped higher subdiv part and cut the hole. It helps tremendously with the shading. Credits to Cgmasters.

@@grydcg it's ok buddy keep going :D I love this tutorial series so much
That seems to be a very good tutorial, the problem is I'm trying to model another car. I began 2 years ago I'm still far far away from finishing at least the exterior and I don't think I can finish it, I'm constantly modifying and fixing topology without making any progress. I think my last 10 years learning blender was a pure waste of time since I can't finish an object. Maybe I should continue, maybe I can finish exterior with 5 more years, then 5 years for unwrapping UVs, and maybe 7 or 8 years for materials, then it will be time to leave this world. I found this tutorial serie and it motivated me again, but here at the begining of part 2 I'm already discouraged because my workflow isn't different from yours, it just doesn't work for me.

I've been on and off on learning blender for the last 8,9 years too, and cars are still difficult to me, I'd suggest try a simpler car for finishing up a project like an older golf for example and also if this method doesn't work for you try the method shown by sarak rhodes with the Porsche, that helped me finish my first car exterior

Oh, Okay when you have a line of corresponding vertices that can be filled, all you have to is fill the first 4 and then select only 2 vertices and continue pressing F and it will continue to fill in the next faces. Sorry I wasn't able to explain this well in the video...
