Man I'm such a novice to Blender and watching this actually helped me so much. I love making car models in Blender and one thing I've realised like you've mentioned multiple times in this video is kind of scrapping a part of the model you don't like and redoing it. Blender for sure is one of those tools that you learn over time by watching people do cool stuff and also trying new things out yourself. Awesome video and thank you so much for showing your process!

@@ArijanRace I'm already so deep into working in blender that I can relate completely. A beginner wouldn't grasp all the knowledge you dump on us here. I see you didn't make a separate video for putting all materials and making a rendering out of that model. Is that worth showing or is it more straightforward than modelling?

@@PopcornSticker I lost some footage in the end but I figured it wasn't worth re-recording, for the reason you mentioned. Workflow videos really aren't beginner stuff, but someone with experience like you can deduce how a lot of the other stuff was done. Different target audience, I suppose.

Wow! Your skill is amazing. I am very like that you do it in a vanilla blender without all that super-fancy paid add-ons. For me, it is very crucial because I think for beginners modeling all that stuff by hand can be very helpful. Definitely want to see the whole process of this project. I am even ready to view the entire modeling process without a timelapse. Oh, it's also unusual to see someone using paintnet in his workflow.

Bro, thanks so much for this video, I made a hipoly of a car and struggled so much with making the interior. After watching your video, I scrapped the whole mesh and went back to the original low poly and just did everything lowpoly. So much easier doing this low poly without all boolean cleanups. I literally blocked out entire car low poly until everything was looking good then I moved onto hipoly detailing. Will post sketcfab model if anyone is interested, once I'm finished. It is a car based on the Clio 5 design. Not 100% identical just more simplified.

That's cool to hear, I'm glad I could help you. I was surprised that my workflow worked because this was my first time modeling something as organic as this, but it is always much easier to start low poly first. If you'd like to share the model, I invite you to our discord community, I put the link in the description of this video. You can get plenty of feedback and cool discussions there. Thanks for the comment.
