Possibly the only Blender 4 video I have seen that uses the Light theme! Cool.
Wow, such a simple, but awesome change. Easily done previously by changing the origin points, but what a pain.
OMG 😳 😱🤯 that is something I always wanted in Blender and finally is added 😊
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG NOW🤧 Thank you
finally. it came too late to blender. it was very important. there are a lot of things like that can fix
thanks Sensei
Great!
I wish this feature was also available for scaling and rotation.
Not bad. Tip for the future: Make the video even more compact
진짜 바라던것
Finally, the move objects in the scene without axes are useless, now have a point, good jobs, and sub from me!
Awesome news! Thank god! The pathetic snapping in Blender drove me crazy.
Can I activate Snap Base right away with a *single* hotkey instead of hitting "G" and "B"? Also, can I make it a toggle so that I can use it multiple times and not just 1 time?
Does it work like in 3ds Max? Snapping is extremely easy and intuitive in 3ds max. One of the main reasons I don't use Blender was the slow and unintuitive snapping system. Hopefully this changes with version 4.0.

You can modify, customize almost everything about Blender. The whole snapping system can be changed with customized pie menus like many people have already done.

@@xanzuls By easy and intutitive I didn't mean the interface, but the way the tool works. I can snap things in Max with just a click or two. Last time I tried it in Blender (a couple of years ago) it took me several actions and was pretty slow. It was fine for occasional use, but with precise hard surface modeling where I need to snap constantly, it was a pain. I will give it another change once the final release of version 4.0 comes out. 👍

@@xanzuls Ok, so I tried the official 4.0 release. Vertex snapping now seems to work properly. Finally! However, is it possible to have it work when using the Move tool with the gizmo? I don't want to hit "G" every time I need to snap to a vertex. In 3ds Max you just toggle vertex snap with a single hotkey - S and then snap as many times as you want. Blender still requires 2 hotkeys G --> B and you have to repeat this key combination over and over and over every time you want to snap to something. :( Can I activate Snap Base right away with a *single* hotkey instead of hitting "G" and "B"? Also, can I make it a toggle so that I can use it multiple times and not just 1 time?
Not bad, but years away from CAD transform, when adding also Construction lines and combine both to working solutions in Blender ... that will be something
They can do this, but the can’t make it possible to change default rotation snap by user, like instead 5 to 15 degrees.

Go to snapping drop down menu and change the "rotation increment" setting
In all versions of Blender, it is very easy to snap. If you choose to snap "vertex, Closest" it will snap the closest vertex of the object that you are moving to the vertex which you want to snap. First move the object once and be sure that the vertex which you want to snap is the closest one then move it again and snap it. It is little confusing by words but believe me it is very easy and fast. No need to change origins or nothing else...
Blender 4.0 is looking awesome. But I think the dark background and layout is better.
I know its commonplace for the "go here to install" part but if you cannot install blender why would you be interested in this video?
Você é brasileiro, irmão? Kkkkkkk
I wish this feature was also available for scaling and rotation.
