Use a 1 1/2 guard then use the blend frend to fade above the 1 1/2 guard. You’re welcome.

What is 11/2? 4.5mm? How do you gonna fade that when the bottom is done with no guard? I just used it with no guard on the lower part and it didn't blend at all. I had to use more guards to make it look decent.

Good product, i find its better for blending longer hair, i prefer to open clippers near the base of where i used the blend frend and blend it a bit more

Can you upload a full video sped up using the blend friend? The only videos you have are shorts with alot of cuts in them

Can you use this just to taper the side burns into a faded beard?

During the pandemic I cut my own hair and my sons too. I wish something like this exists but i can't find it even in the online shop.

I bought one, it took a bit to arrive since it comes from UK. Used as directed, works great. I have been getting fades since i was a teen. All the negative reviews are from scared barbers.

Its a number 1, I believe a number 1 clip is 3mm. Make sure to flick out as you put in the initial guide line.

Can u use this fading comb with a garde 0 cut

Why not having several issues for not only a fade, but just for blending the top into the bottom? So like one which does not start with a number one but a number 3 for example?

Worked great on my husband head, I used the dogs clippers 😂 with 3 mm guard and blended beautifully. I have never cut man's hair before lol

@@crazypitbull16 I have seen to notice that the quality of the clip will help with minimizing cutting strokes. Using say $8 clippers for our budget ballers will give uneven cuts as it will skip hairs. Ensure you maintain the same elevation during bold line process. All in all it was a good investment. I do have to say I wish It were smaller and thinner.

Because the blend friend is a 1-3, does that mean the line you but in has to be a 1? Sorry I'm new to this!! Or what length do you reccomend to use as a line?

From what I understand, you have to leave it marked at the height of the comb 3mm comb 1 low and then I came up with this comb

You can make a skin fade only you make your line without guard, you fade it and then you make another line with the number 1 and you already use the blend frend

You use a .5 guard closer and flick the line in around the head as per the video. Then you blend with the comb

Same process but may leave a line of hair, make sure to close the clippers when u start. After using blend friend reattach no 2, open the clipper 2 clicks and blend the line out.

What first clipper u use ? 1mm or 0.5mm

No. If you start there you're missing one important step.

It's too steep of a cut and it should be made of metal and be thinner material to pick up the hairs above the cut line. Seems more like a prototype. Highly disappointing and seems good only for longer hair types on top.
