Another proof that you don't need an 8 string or 9 string guitar to make heavy music. While I was going through guitar covers, I couldn't believe this tone can be achieved in a six string. Yet, hits right at the core! What a masterpiece!

When I see modern metal bands going with 8-9 strings and dropping tuning as much as they can I go listen to Reflections Through Fire by Sylosis(or anything else by them) which is E Standard on a 6 string and remind myself how good and heavy it still sounds

This is why I switched from a 7-string guitar to a 6-string. It's not how low you play, but where you play! Of course, the sound plays a big part as well, and the bass

Also, notice the intervals leaps played near the end of the song (specifically 3:38). The leads are technical indeed.

I flew to Poland with this band, they were going for a gig in Gdańsk, then later discovered their music. What an awesome band, and all of them are so good looking. It's a Shame that I didn't speak with them cos I'm shy 😂

I believe these are regular scale, but the tuning is drop a#.
