Aizen put him in that condition causing him to be ran out soul society and a outcast i think he doesnt want aizen to see him in a state he put him in where he needs to resort to what aizen cursed him with to fight him but wanted to fight him with his soul reaper abilities only that hes always had

I was thinking about that haha many reasons can be given. But It was probably due aesthetic reasons lol. Tousen trying to cut Shinji's Head off scene wouldnt look as cool as It did If he kept the mask lol

It’s very simple, you remember when Lisa attacked him with a mask on? He simply insulted her as “failed experiment” and basically saying “don’t you dare pout your sword at me in that form”, Shinji knew that so he took it off to not get looked down upon

@@fredlagg27 Yeah it does, 虚閃 is the literal kanji used in the Japanese manga. It's just marked for pronunciation as せロ, i.e. "cero".

captain class is pretty much just a catch all for "strong". But the difference in power between captains can be pretty vast.

No I agree, the old Bleach was legendary. The fights were way more fleshed out and everyone could shine. TYBW is fricking glorious but I’m not a fan of the pacing, wish they’d flesh all the fights and lore out more
