A great tip is to put vaseline or a different gelly on your hairline before bleaching, this will prevent the burn. Always bleach when there is a good oil build up on your hair, this prevents the skin and will leave less hair damage:)

A bit of advice for anyone: if you bleach you hair and it's not great and is still quite orange/yellow, don't use a cool toned colour like blue to cover it. No matter how dark it is, it will come out green. Something like red or green are perfect for dyeing over yellow or orange

I’m a fellow plus size baddie in the East bay so life is 😎 rn but I know when I go to Asia this summer all my aunties will comment on how fat I am! I just want to know of a good coping mechanism so I don’t cry all during my trip, lol.

tbh I just let it roll off my shoulder! It used to hurt me DEEPLY when I was younger, but now I just respond with, “but aren’t I beautiful though?” or “I knooowwww, I eat soooo GOOD 😍” if they say anything negative about my appearance. The aunties are usually so shocked by my response that they laugh or just leave me alone. I just remind myself that there is nothing inherently wrong with being fat, and if someone has a problem with it, it’s a them issue and not a me issue!
