Quotable, but absolute bullshit. People only in two "states" would ever bother to understand you on the deepest level - your greatest enemies that would do anything to exploit you, and your admirers, or people who love you, who simply care that much about what you really think. Even if you argue enemies examine their prey to a greater detail then their admirers do, it's absurd to state admiration is "furthest" from understanding, when it clearly still is the second closest thing.

@@mitromney Blindness is why admiration is the furthest thing from understanding. It's the idea that while you like someone in a certain way and to a certain extent, you're in a state of mind towards them that simply doesn't allow you to see them for anything other than what you want to see them as and the object of your admiration can very much use that by acting in a way that fuels your confirmation bias about who they are, further preventing you from understanding.

Ladies and gentleman...one of the biggest plot twist in all of anime...Aizen Sosuke is alive and is the main vilain of Bleach ! The second he stabs Hinamori and look down on her...THAT is the real Aizen Sosuke, cold, calculating, looking down on people and superior to all, manipulator and honestly a real asshole ...and that is why we love him ! He's the Palpatine of anime, the man with a plan and insane power out of nowhere and one of the most OP power for a manipulator vilain...Now the fun begins !

Kyle Hebert voices both Aizen and Ganju. The guy has an incredible range.

Aizen is stronger than Naruto hypnosis. He can make you feel like your tasting crqp in your mouth and fighting an elephant while your entire body is on fire and your girlfriend is making out with him if he wants. He can make you blind. He can do anything. People always underestimate complete hypnosis. And it’s not even the strongest power in bleach.

It took 60 episodes for the villain to finally be revealed.

This is the most broken ability in anime unless you are blind. (Which no longer matters later on, making it EXTREMELY broken)

Oh yeah this is where this show becomes my favorite of any shonen, the whole Izen arc is on another level.

I'm afraid you're absolutely off the mark, the official statistics from Kubo show Aizen is still better than Unohana at literally everything even as a soul reaper, so even if she goes all out Aizen could take her head-on. It would certainly be an interesting fight without Kyouka Suigetsu in the equation, but Aizen should still absolutely win by all known metrics, and honestly I'm not sure Gin couldn't also take her all things considered, though I'd still put the odds mainly in her favour.

@@officiallyjan8596 What or where are these official statistics? In TYBW, it's made abundantly clear that she was considered "strongest" even way back in the strongest era of soul reapers. Only Genryūsai and Zaraki have been more powerful than her in the Gotei 13. There's a reason, Unohana was written out of fighting anyone for the majority of Bleach.

@@Arezkkuzu First off, check the official databooks made by Kubo. He gives actual statistical ratings for how good the various characters are at things like swordsmanship (Unohana's specialty) and Kido and Reiatsu, and *basic* Aizen pre-Hogyoku only loses in stats to Yamamoto at ANYTHING, that includes Unohana in her field of expertise; Swordsmanship. Second of all, Unohana's reputation means nothing towards who's actually strongest because A) it's biased and circumstantial and b) Aizen's true strength was completely unknown to everyone until he blitzed and bodied 6+ captains without breaking a sweat, one of whom was KYOURAKU. What this boils down to is that Unohana is *at best* only on Aizen's general level in terms of skill (though more likely not), but factoring in Aizen's Kyouka Suigetsu and Unohana doesn't stand a chance in hell even against pre-hogyoku Aizen. There is literally nothing she could do to perceive him if he doesn't let her. The only theoretical possibility would be doing what Aizen did to Soifon, a sufficiently massive difference in spiritual pressure might be able to negate the hypnosis but seeing as even Yammamoto didn't have enough to do that (if it's even possible in theory), the idea of Unohana pulling it off is laughable.

Just to clarify. I'm not entirely sure you guys will ever read this but. Bleach is heavily inspired by the Buddhist teaching of Samsara. When you die in Bleach, you go through a Reincarnation Cycle, so when a human dies, they go to Soul Society unless something else interferes, aka, Hollows, and when a Soul Reaper or just a regular soul in Soul Society dies, their "soul" is reborn back on earth in a new life. Hollows also go to Soul Society after they've been cleansed by a Zanpakuto, or if they did bad things while they were alive, they'll go to Hell. I assume the same is true for regular souls that did not become Hollows but did bad things in life. In essence, the "Soul" of a person, consists of a spiritual body with the actual soul as the "core" of said spirit body. When you die as a soul, the spiritual body breaks down and the "core" which is the actual soul gets reborn, repeating the cycle. This is why Soul Reapers exists, they maintain this balance of souls as too few souls entering one place can cause literally inbalance, causing the world to collapse.

You know, not trying to be jerk or anything but it is getting extremely frustrating every time you keep complaining about not knowing what people's motivations are and instantly demanding to know why Aizen is doing all of this the second he is revealed to be the bad guy. After all, at this point in the show there are only 3 people whose motivations haven't been shown: Gin, Byakuya, Aizen; and you just know that if Aizen started monologuing (like one of them was demanding) he'd immediately start complaining about the monologuing.
