It's due to the game's actual dialogue being Japanese and the timing is made with that in mind.

I would have loved if Ruby and Blake intro is the converstion in RWBY Chibi Ep 1 Blake: Where's my Book?!?! Ruby.... Is that my book... Ruby: This is filth, FILTH *Book Flys off to enemy Any Oppnent: OUCH!!! Watch where your- Huh? Ninjas of Love? * Sees first page Any Oppnent: WHAT IN HELL!

Well Ruby loves weapons, and Aigis is a a walking armory...

Note: Hazama's Japanese VA also voiced for Blake's former partner, Adam Taurus. That's why Blake said she won't "face" her back to Hazama. Hence, a certain character faced their back to him and you know what happens next.

My vote would be for team JNPR to begin with (especially Nora with her giant electric hammer!). I like Qrow as well, but I'm concerned that, as a scythe user, he would function too similarly to either Ruby or Gordeau. It's funny: in any other game a scythe would be an _unusual_ weapon.

Two things I think would’ve been cool 1. Ruby/Any RWBY Character pays reference to Penny when paired with Aigis or any robot character 2.The RWBY cast makes a reference to Mercury when paired with Yosuke. Perhaps something like “You sound familiar.” Ya know, because Mercury And Yosuke share a V.A

Hakumen is the best, cracks me up when my friends try to finish me off with an attack or an astral heat only for me to do a perfect counter every time.

The outro and win conversation shows a bit more of their relationship. There intro is more like how they act when they fight shadows in the TV world. But I guess they could have added that to the intro

2B I agree with (and there seems to be a bidding war in Japan at the moment as to whether she will guest star in _this_ game or _Soul Calibur 6_ ), but I'm not exactly sure how 9S's skillset would ever work in a fighting game - you could hardly pause the action while one player operates a hacking minigame in an attempt to take over / detonate their opponent.
