@4:00 it’s sand bottom. You can ride through in 1st gear at idle & never get stuck. Spinning will disturb the sand and then bottom is soft. Finesse vs throttle jockeys. Lol. Good video Pete

Your video made this place look like a lot of fun. Being only about 4 hours from whare I live in south Dakota I took the trip this last weekend. Appleton is amazing. Well worth the drive. Nice little camp ground near by to stay at too. Great video's man, shady ouk may be next on my list... lol

Thats awesome to hear man! I'm glad you had a good time. Appleton is pretty unique. I call it a "playground park" instead of a trail system. Shady Oaks was fun for a change of scenery but way more tame compared to all the berms and terrain types at Appleton. My favorite trail in MN is still Spider Lake which is a bit further north but has enough trail to entertain you for 2 days 🤘

@PeteHager Spider Lake sounds like a great time. I'm just getting into exploring MN. Definitely looking for more of the trail style of parks. Agreed on the playground park of Appleton... lots of fun anyway. Unfortunately, South Dakota doesn't have much unless I travel to the west side black hills/ Sturgis/ badlands area.. The next time you get together with brewer off-road and 700r raptor life can I go? Lol ya'll are great riders and fun to watch. My wife is still learning so she's not always the best riding buddy lol

I’ve always wanted to go to Appleton since some of the first videos you put out. Maybe I will make the trip up to Minnesota some day! Awesome content as always!

Dumb question, but what tool did you use to tighten down your precision steering stabilizer to the steering column on your raptor 700

Not a dumb question, I know fitment can be tricky with those clamps. Normally I just use a standard allen wrench. I know for the YFZ we had to turn the bars all the way one direction in order to fit the wrench 👍

@@Themainerider also, turn the little locking bolt that’s in the middle of the clamp just a hair so it barely protrudes facing the stem. Then tighten your two clamp bolts. Tightening that center locking allen bolt on its own isn’t very easy with the limited leverage in the area. You’re gonna love the stabilizer man, as soon as it helps you one time it’s totally worth it. I’ve never seen a bad review online about them 🤘
